They mean turning the key.. which will cut power to the cruise control. You could probably just turn the key to off then back on while driving to reset it
I think the most useful feedback would be the negative G's you feel as you squeeze the lever. The brake lever feels the same every time you squeeze it whether the bike is moving or not
What I want to know is how the hell the joists picked up such a magnetic potential in the first place.
This is a stretch, but if you orient a steel bar with the north and south poles and hit it with a hammer, it will become magnetized.. maybe the joists were dropped from a height while they were pointing N/S
Actually, you're right... The hottest thing I can handle comfortably is 5 star Thai food, and Thai chili peppers are 50k to 100k. Blair's didn't come close to that, but still hotter than other mass produced chips that claim to be spicy.
For beer you can get a bottle capper for about $15. For soda, a plastic bottle.. I think it's possible to get the cap off without breaking the safety ring if you push it up while you're unscrewing it
I started using UltraEdit in '99 (which has those features) and became a loyal fan, until it go too expensive for upgrades. At the time it was the only editor I could find that could deal with the large files I needed to edit. I use gvim on windows almost exclusively now. I still use UltraEdit once in a while for the column edit mode, I still haven't found a good way to do what I want in gvim. I'll probably try Notepad++ for that now.
Yeah, I don't get it either.. all this would do is increase the amount of time you spend in the bathroom. Why not do your thing, then go use a computer elsewhere? The only useful thing I can think of for this is some kind of game to get kids to brush their teeth etc.

When applications rarely use scroll lock, it's not that obvious why all of a sudden the arrow keys stop working. The way I phrased my first comment made it sound like the scroll lock thing sucks, but I meant Notes just sucks as a whole. I only meant it was an annoyance. I've been using the software for at least 7 years and have found plenty to hate about it.
Also, just because a program does what you told it to do doesn't mean it's designed well. Like making the F9 key refresh your inbox instead of F5.. which locks the client so you have to type your password in again. At least they finally fixed that one, which proves it was a stupid idea in the first place. Lotus 8 is far better than 7 was, but it's still full of non-standard, non-intuitive features
Stop being such a dick, jeez

If they can do that, they can easily add a time threshold.. or have it activate when it travels outside a certain radius.
Glad to see you're making an effort to understand the difference between "brake" and "break"... You're almost there.

and the engineering term is swashplate

It's the gargling that would bother me. And the lard.

Pictures would be nice
why not take a mouthful of lard, or gargle with olive oil ?!?
Do you really have to ask that question?
Incidentally, FTA: "My favourite remedy is olive oil," he says, "but it's not the most pleasant."

Blair's Death Rain habanero chips are actually pretty hot.. 600,000 scoville I think. Yeah, they're not BBQ, but there's no reason they couldn't be
Just like if you handcuff everyone to their beds, there will be no more crime.
There's still a chance some of them would rip off that label on their mattress.
isn't that what alen said? If the cable companies have to pay higher fees, they'll jack up the customer rates?

haha.. that's great, thanks! The most interesting thing my cat does is stare directly at a wall from about 2 inches away.. for hours.
youtube! please!
The ones that I've used automatically sensed the drift then stopped the pointer and recalibrated itself.

I'm pretty sure one piece of wood can't be in two places at once...
Unless the wood was split with one of these: http://youtu.be/2f-D0yAfu9c
Hes 13 dude. What were doing at that age besides power rangers.
