  1. Re:Simple on Personal Data Exposed! Can Legislation Fix It? · · Score: 0

Yeah, I was actually thinking this, then I scrolled down and someone had already mentioned it.

Quite simply, it's instant karma... If a company does accidentally leak some data, then those who managed it, be it managers and/or the boss of that establishment, will have their private details (phone, company details etc) exposed... they would not only be punished, but they would know how it feels, which gives them knowledge for a better company. Kind of like, forceful learning..

    I totally agree.

The problem as I see it is the prevailing ignorance that they have, they feel as if they can cater to all people with pop music, as if it's enough for anyone.

People want to be able to *listen* to music, and I'm not talking just pop, they want something different, people like to venture out.. I don't think anyone should be expected to like what they put out, and even if they did put a lot of other stuff out, people will always want to explore for other music.. That's one of the great things about music..

They are trying to stop the leak in a hay stack with these laws, no matter how many gaps they close, water will come through...

I think you should get a voice recondition system, it would be as fast as you could think.

Don't believe me?.. then recite 5 paragraphs of text in your head in 5 seconds.
Not easy is it?.. No, your brain is just as fast when you speak vocally, you can't think faster than that, otherwise people would be speaking 600 times faster without any hassle.

  7. Re:End of civilization??? on Building Brainlike Computers · · Score: 0

We were created through the natural process of evolution, evolution has given us efficient brains, but it didn't give us a guide to creating AI machines in which we may or may not live in.

It's still, very early and right now it's impossible for this to happen.. even inhabiting another planet is very hard because we are formed through the natural environment. I don't think it would be wise to break away from that, not just wise but quite literally illogical.
We should keep to the natural enviroment in which we were formed, for if it weren't for that, we wouldn't been have able to even think about this (we wouldn't be alive)

We shouldn't try and create new rules in this universe, as it is impossible and illogical, but we should follow them and adapt ourselves around them.

This is a long shot, but I know there is sound cancellers, that invert the frequency that enters them, then shoots out the inverted frequency so that you do not hear it.

Often these are found in some earphone models, like some of sony's.. I don't know if it's possible on a larger scale, but hey, at least I tried.

    Thanks

It's always funny when people tell me that 'ohh, look, this documentary the other night, on channel 4, they said and proved it was all a myth, and you don't have to worry!' As if that is the TRUE story for everything... rubbish.

I personally don't care that the 'man' in charge is trying to get us to use greener fuel .. and I always ask people when they think that global warming is rubbish and we should ignore it, as if they stand against alternative fuels (e.g. electric cars, home-power generators like solar panel..)

Pollution as we clearly know it is bad, you only have to look at chinas streets to see all the fog (made from pollution) to know it's a thing worth preventing.

Personally, I don't care if this all a conspiracy to conjure up higher taxes... because it would spur public interest in alternative fuels.

It was only last night that my power went out *yet again* hows that for a good reliable power system?.. Rubbish I tell you, and I'd rather we all generate and store our own electricity in case that happens.
