I have to admit, I am shocked... This is the first time I've ever seen Mozilla do such an act.

Is it bad or good?.. well, as the AC above quite rightly points out, Realplayer is a widely known heap-of-junk.. and to be associated with that and the total free-open source Firefox internet browser is really quite surprising.

Oh well, let's see how it goes, if it increases user base by a large margin, and people adopt Firefox and love it (I'm sure they will) then I see this as being an advantage in the longterm.

If Firefox's development slows to a snails pace, and people have it on their machine, it won't add a good name to Firefox at all, it'll get widely known as the browser which is bug-ridden and a haven for viruses, but saying that, I don't see it happening :)

Oh and, one last note.. I love how 2.0 beta is coming on, It's adding some additional very slim and needed features (such as spelling in text boxes).

I have some experience with police officers. About a year ago, I got into an argument with my mother and her partner decided to phone the police as I was fustrated and hit the table with my fist, this was a mistake on my part obviousely, but in my house hold, that's what happens (my mothers partner often goes into flids and smashed lots of things).. Personally I am not an aggressive person but I have a limit. Anyway, I passed my limit and raised my voice and hit the table, my mothers partner phoned the police, they took me into custurdy without hearing my side of the story, but of course the new laws allow them to take anyone into prison who have a phone call on them. I fully cooperated with them and I was in jail for about 40 minutes, my mother decided not to press charges and I was left with a caution on my name or whatever, DNA was done, photo was done, shoes taken off and all that junk. Anyway, the main part was, that whilst they drove me back home, I started to speak to both the police officers.. they seemed like arrogant teenagers but they were in their 30's/40's... they had no passion for solving crimes and giving justice to the people. I asked them quite a few questions and carefully watched and listened to how they reacted.. they said that they enjoyed going to a call and seeing what the situation was, I actually hinted about helping people in a subtle way but they were blind to that fact. It seems to me, police officers are people who have no respect for the public, they see the public as the enemy to them, and if the regulations that's being told to them it's "ok" to do such things (like in this case) then this will drive them further into CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR themselves, but of course, they are the 'law' so, they are totally clear.. The police force needs to be refined, I don't want criminals and corrupt policemen in the workforce. The way I see it, the government is being driven by an agender to increase crime, promote terrorism, fuel racism (specifically muslims and so on), putting more and more money into CCTV cameras and the like, creating a huge database of DNA samples from as many people as possible.. All this leads to huge corruption, depopulation, and a huge push for Nazi like ideologies trying to kill all muslims/blacks and so on.

I don't know what to really say, I mean, in my comment above, I express my feelings that this will only increase crime, and it seems like it's a way of decreasing the population ... I mean, the criminals who go into prison will probably only get worse, and when they come out they might be so screwed up and go killing people.. I don't know really, it's so odd.

Anyway, by the time people realize that all their rights have gone, they may decide that their judgments of blair in the first place were wrong..

Already, the UK jails are bursting.. they really are! Where do they expect them to go??

It seems like this is just a huge push for further corruption, which is such a strange thought at first, since the whole idea of this is to "remove corruption".. the fact of the matter is, there are crimes everywhere all the time in the UK - and when criminals come out of prison they never change, and sometimes they come out worse...

This will cause the opposite effect, and in my personal opinion, they want a mass population decrease.

I have modelled in the past, and this poster above is nothing but a liar. You don't model from "electrons".. you model from vertexes, points and edges. You then use a smoothing tag to estimate a curv over the points, inwhich you can add more detail by adding more points.

Blenders UI isn't great for a total newbie I agree, but that's not to say it's hard. I thought 3ds maxes interface was hard at first compared to maxon cinema 4d, but I got used to that.

There's also lots of video tutorials for blender which is brilliant. and yeah, the above poster should in no-way of been modded "insightful"

But as you point out that the modellers/animators can't be story writers, in my belief is wrong. I think (I don't know) but I'm pretty sure that none of them would attempt that. I have experience in the computer graphic area, and it's becoming more and more important to excel in one small area, for example - modelling or texturing - and the industry is really blatantly telling these 3d graphic enthusiasts that that is how it is, therefore I don't personally believe any of them would write the story - they know the deal with 'not being good at everything' Anyway, I really do hope they carry on doing this, as a poster above said.
