  1. I use both you insenstive clod! on OpenOffice Vs. Google Apps · · Score: 1
OpenOffice is what I use when I am at home, working. Google apps are amazing though, if I happen to be a computer that barely has internet connection and wordpad... How else am I going to open my stuff? It is also great as a pps viewer I can use without downloading the darn file when I get it through email. And to store and share stuff it is quite cute.

So, basically, this is like comparing an ipod with a speaker.

are playing a pirated copy of DOOM II you are going to HELL.
Buy it and avoid an eternity with all the other freeloaders.
If you have any problems playing DOOM II, please call our
technical support line at (212) 686-9432.

This is all the copy protection Doom2 needed - And it was a heck of a money factory, in fact people still buy the doom collector's edition today because the wads can be used on the many ports (BTW id software GPLing the engine didn't stop them from profiting this way)

Well, I tend to miss those times...

I think McCain/Palin's campaign was one of the hardest ones to actually agree with, also considering the Bush factors, I'd say this was all an attempt from the press to avoid looking like a bunch of idiots. I don't blame them.

Regarding comedy/satire, McCain and specially Palin are really, really fun to mock, and mocking them equals better rating, Another part in which I can't blame them either.

    3. Now that it is available, the "article", turns out to be a random forum post that just explains how to do it. Still no explanation on why this was needed, so I'll take your pretty statement as proof you did not RTFA...

This is not like noscript neither in functionality nor in ease of use, notice noscript is not a blacklist, it is a whitelist... Not to mention it also does a lot more things like blocking plugins and preventing XSS giberish and other stuff. You can also allow javascript temporarily for a site, without disabling it again later...
