Actually, it makes me prefer Bush. At least he actually did what he said... Quite frankly, that makes me respect Clinton, who I really detested while in office.
They've cost Sony alone over $200 million dollars. Now, while many of us believe (as they do) that nobody deserves that more than Sony, there are few bigger problems in the US right now, at least financially. The FBI has correct priorities, for once.
It means that Ardolf asked his son in a letter to lie and say that he didn't kiss the boy. That was pretty much a statement of guilt when found later. It provided the proof for the pedophilia that didn't exist when they started with the 2-year plea deal.
Or, he could have just made them really angry and they are now throwing charges out left and right in order to do to him what he did to his neighbors, but with the law on their side.
Its going to be very hard for anyone to become the legal clearinghouse for media at a price point most consumers see as reasonable because the studios won't allow it.
I hear the Pirate Bay has got it wired... Which is the problem the studios face when they get too greedy.
What the sob story on NBC failed to tell you is that there are far more people in the CFL and LED business in the US than were in the incandescent business. Americans innovate, the Chinese imitate. We can't compete with the Chinese on the 100+-year-old incandescent technology, but they can't compete with us in CFLs and LEDs, yet.
I'm in the same boat... given the massive increase in cost, and the claims for bulb life... even one or two failures basically means you've wiped out any savings for the next decade or so.
How do you figure? I bought CFLs early on (about 7 years ago). I spent $150 to upgrade all the bulbs in the house (except a dimmable chandelier). I immediately saw a $30/month reduction in my electric bill, meaning I made ALL the money back in 5 months. Some bulbs began failing within 7 months and more after about a year and a half. By now, I have replaced all the original set for 1/4 the price (about $40). I make that up in about 1 month compared to incandescents! And all the new bulbs light to full brightness immediately and have a better color range. Oh, and I haven't replaced a CFL in over 5 years now.
These statistics are completely false. Anyone can download California's statistics right here: http://www.chp.ca.gov/switrs/
Notice they care about alcohol drugs as a special category despite being responsible for less than 10% of accidents, but not gadgets because they are even less than that.
I was a contractor at a job where they always wanted me to be the lead developer for new clients, because I always reeled them in. Every time they would replace me (at that client), they would replace me with 3-5 people. It was a nice compliment.
When I first got my Asus, it Force Closed a lot on 3.0. But when Android 3.1 came around, I think I have had 1-2 force closes since in a month or so, always on busy web pages (I run full browser mode instead of mobile, so probably my fault).
Yes, many of the apps are poor quality and unfinished. If there is an option, I choose the nicer looking one. But I would rather have functionality than not, even if it's sometimes ugly to look at.
I played with the iPad 2, but felt limited by all it couldn't do. I like throwing DVDs on an SD card and having the kids watch movies in the car while on vacation. To do that on an iPad would have required an iPad 1, jailbreaking and an expensive camera kit option. Or, I can just pop a Micro SD in the Asus and watch movies. And when I get to the hotel, I can view them on the big screen with a simple HDMI cable. And with another card, I get another 16GB worth of movies. I can throw music and pictures on there without iTunes. And Asus included a great app (MyNet) which just sees your uPNP/DLNA servers and plays everything on them.
I can remote control my PCs without installing anything, because RemoteRDP is a great remote desktop program that uses Microsoft's built-in protocol. Most of the popular games and apps are on both anyway and there are more every day.
It IS your money in that billion dollar vehicle (if you're a US Citizen)...
Just scroll all the way to the bottom. The answers are there. I find expertsexchange.com to be very useful...

One or the other...
The monkeys stole his camera and the photographer even noted initially that he had no copyright claim because it was completely random.
I would consider getting sued to be a hassle...

Not true. Try finding Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast DVDs on Netflix. They were removed at Disney's insistence in the last contract.

And here is the raw data where there is a column showing gadget use: http://iswitrs.chp.ca.gov/Reports/jsp/RawData.jsp (You need to register) You will find it nowhere near 25%.

Sounds good. But I tried to play Portal 2 on my PC the other night and I couldn't because the servers were down.
The Asus is $150 cheaper than an iPad 2 and is widescreen and plays MP4s from a MicroSD card. People just need to try them out if they can find one.
Exactly. We aren't asking for tablet apps because we don't need them. Everything works and looks decent.
What's Facebook?

That's why I have an arcade trackball.

I had exactly the opposite experience.

The Asus Transformer has the same IPS screen as the iPad, if you want the precision.
The real question is whether .coke could get ICEd.
