    Actually, they are. You are supposed to track them, especially for large (over $600 or something) purchases.

    Google often gets criticized but it's pretty obvious to me that they fought it every step of the way and that most of the leaks from them were from a hack inside their network that they have since closed.

    Really? I'm far more concerned that thanks to people like you, very soon it will be illegal to be a Christian and the past purchases I've made on Amazon will make it obvious that I am one and that I'll be easy to find because of it. Tyranny goes both ways, you know.

    The SEC stops you from investing in technology like this at the behest of rich bankers, so they can get richer. If you want a 10-year investment where you can get very high rewards, try Bitcoin.

    You mean like maybe north of Canada or in the Bering Sea where there is so much ice the last few years that boats can't follow their normal schedules and are shut down for months at a time because of the ice? But I never see an alarming article about MORE ice. Always less.

    My daughter is taking this right now and she showed it to me. Basically, then start by moving a character. Then they have to automate the moving of the character. Then, they have to make if thens and loops to move the character. I was actually pleasantly surprised.

    Han shooting first shows just what kind of a dangerous scoundrel the Rebels have to rely on. It's the beginning of his character journey from rogue to respectable.

    If he starts out semi-respectable, it weakens his character development a great deal.

    You can easily have a 13-year-old machine running on modern Linux. This isn't possible on Windows.

    You missed DOS 5, Windows 95, SQL 7, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Office 2007, Windows 7. There have been MANY times in the past when Microsoft put something out that was the best in the world at the time. And sometimes, it took people a while to realize it.

    Exactly. Sure, the FIRST migration cost more. But now they would have had to buy new machines and switch to Windows 8 because XP went out of support. With Linux, they have no need to do that. If the PCs still run OK, they can still use PCs from that era until they die because Linux is generally far more efficient than Windows with the same hardware. And they can still put the latest releases of Firefox or Chromium or whatever on those older PCs and only upgrade when they break or when they feel they need to.

    Anybody I help with their computer I always ask them if I can turn on Automatic Updates. I figure they'll be WAY better off than if I don't.

    Really? That's strange. My Eee Netbook upgraded just fine. Of course, I didn't use the Home version it came with and put Professional on there instead.

    Key switches have been around for decade and are reliable.

    You clearly have never owned a Saturn. (In their defense, this WAS the only thing that failed on the car in 10 years and only cost $35 to replace.)
