The War on Drugs is the reason there are illegal meth labs. If that shit was legal and could come from OHSA-compliant lab there would be no need for illegal labs in apartments. Personal drug use should not be illegal, and drug abuse should be treated with social and medical services like any other ailment...
It's a matter of perspective. I can say the same thing about anyone being disappointed in anything. I can call you immature for being disappointed that someone else has fantastic beliefs or expectations. If you are as mature as you think you are, you would see the folly in any disappointment... You will never find peace by non-acceptance.
A library is a place for people to check out books and do research. It is NOT a peepshow or adult book store.
I'm glad that's YOUR opinion of what a library should be, but you don't speak for everyone. I don't tell you what you can or can't look at in the library. Who's selfish? The guy who supports freedom of speech in all its forms, or the guy who wants to tell everyone else how they should live and kill whoever doesn't agree? Have whatever beliefs you want, but I'm not going to live in fear of pictures or ideas like you do, and neither will my kids.
If you want to look at porn, fine. You are free to do that in your own home, or a peep show or a XXX bookstore or wherever else is appropriate for that kind of behavior.
I can just as easily say, "If you want to be a fascist, you are free to do that in your own home, or wherever else is appropriate for that kind of behavior." or "If you're going to try to censor the world, I'd prefer you just leave, though, as it is easier on all of us."
I'm not sure why that proposition is so absurd. I've grown up, I've paid my dues, I pay my taxes (which pays for the library), etc.. Why should the child who has contributed nothing to society yet get the most freedom? I think I've earned the right to look at porn in the comfortable part of the library.

Stop trying to control the universe. If a punishment is needed so be it, but not every law that is broken needs a punishment. Not every law that is written even needs to be a law.
