    I really don't understand why we still allow campaign contributions to specific politicians. IMO, this is the single biggest flaw in our political system currently. All contributions should be pooled and divided equally among all candidates. This should have been dealt with decades ago..

    Whatever the truth, it's really hard to prove.

    It would be easy if the photographer supplied the RAW image like he was supposed to. He conveniently "forgot" to bring it. Instant disqualification in my book.

    there is a concept in the world called "context". this is when something means something different depending on the situation. there is a distinct difference between calling up a school and saying "there is a bomb in the school." and writing a song that says "there's a bomb in the school." artists have been singing about murder and mayhem since the dawn of time. it's an emotional release.. doesn't make them threats. locking this kid up does absolutely nothing for the benefit of society... in fact, quite the opposite.. you've just bred another psychopath

    Read an article recently that said they have evidence to suggest that feeding bees corn syrup to replace the honey that they would normally eat weakens their immune system because the honey contains all sorts of good biological things that are remnants from the plants they harvest the nectar from. Instead, we steal their honey and feed them factory produced high fructose corn syrup. Pesticides, insecticides, corn syrup.. It's no wonder they're dying....

    Well, they're just mitigating bad luck with shrewd long-game play. It's still a game of luck if you look at it per-hand, but there are betting strategies and other skills involved if you intend to play the long-game, at which point I guess it becomes a game of skill.

    Do these protesters realize that without this type of research, that they may force a delay in modern medicine by years, some of this medicine will likely be used to save themselves or someone they love dearly?

    Yes, they realize this. It might be hard to believe, but some people are willing to accept the consequences if it means establishing a proper respect for all living things. What other atrocities should we commit in order to save a few of the precious homo sapiens? Where do you draw the line?
