When the government starts dictating requirements and the price, we're all screwed.
Actually, in here, we where all much better when the government was doing exactly that for electricity market, for fuel distribution market, etc. Cause now, since some companies have a dominant position in that market, the prices have sky rocketed.
I admit I might be wrong, but isn't AES based in primes as well? If so, then quantum computing will solve it. About you statement that quantum computing might never reach an advanced enough state to solve complex problems. Well, I direct you to Quantum Entanglement in Photosynthesis recent findings. That clearly demonstrate that it's possible to maintain the kind of necessary states, no only in high quantities but also at room temperatures. And all this made simply by natural evolution. So yes, it's easy to see that sooner rather than later human technology will be able to use this as well.
Well, in 10 years I'm sure we will have quantum computer with enough qubits that will crack this instantaneously. But hopefully they will occupied being used for science instead of this kind of stuff.
Well, no. That's only if you use classical electromagnetic medium, witch is what normal computers use now a days. But, we now have Quantum computers, and although they don't have enough qubits to crack an AES 256 key today, they will surely have in the future. In fact when they have enough qubits they will be able to crack any classical encryption algorithm, no matter how big.
The funny thing about quantum physics, is just that is goes against all your common sense.
Oh really, thanks for the info. Next time I see an American citizen walking here in the street in Europe (they are pretty easy to spot, they normally carry shorts and sandals with socks even if it's winter, poor people still didn't understand that Southern Europe is not a tropical country, they have a strange accent and they make dumb remarks about most of the stuff around), I guess I'll just pick one take in home and water board him until he agrees to give me his money. I guess, since it's not torture it's surely not illegal, so I will be ok with the law and earn a few quid.
It strikes me as ironic that more and more UK resembles the dystopian world of 1984 that described life in London itself.
The UK needs to get a constitution ASAP, so that it's citizens are protected from the state, or else this kind of action will get worst to the point of no return.
You mean the proposal "on setting up a European early warning system (EWS) for paedophiles and sex offenders"? I was reading it, and it's about the search engines logging any access to sites related with children pornography. It's not about logging all your internet activity as the post implies.
The way this news is written, it's just flamebait. It's not the EU parliament that wants to monitor your internet. It's an Italian member of EU parliament. That's a big difference. And if you lived in EU you would understand that it's not like people around here listen to Italian ministers anyway.
Now, if you want a comparison, it would be like when some senator in USA presents a proposal to make creationism teaching obligatory, and you put a news saying: USA want to make teaching creationism in public schools obligatory. That's pure sensationalism.
Well, I think it's obvious that here, Israel is the bully.
And every time Palestinians come and say: -"Look at what these Israeli guys are doing to us", all the "teacher" (UN) can say is: -"Naughty, naughty Israel, here, take a little tap in the hand, cause the schoolmaster (USA) doesn't really let us do anything to you, since they are big friends with your parents (major stockholders of the banks in USA) and tell us to shut up (veto any decision against sanctions to Israel, or any neutral enquiry commission to analyse the war crimes being committed by Israel)". And then the Palestinians since nobody does anything about them getting beat up every day, get a bomb at home and blow the Israelis up. But then of course, they get obliterated by Israelis while the world looks to the side when they say: -"But teacher (UN) I was telling every day, these guys are beating us up, and now is our fault?" and all the answer they get is: "Of course, it's ok, for Israelis to kill your children, rape your woman and expel you from your homes in Cis-Jordania, but it's not ok, for you to get back at them!"
In the 1st one, Palestine didn't even exist. Jewish communities leaders (it was not even a state that accepted anything, just a bunch of people scattered around) though, agreed to share the administration of the lands with the Arabs. Well, of course, after all they where in Arab lands to start with, so Israelis didn't accept to share it with the Arabs, actually what they accepted was to get control over other people lands. No wonder the Arabs didn't agree to that.
In the second one, well, you may say whatever you want, but nothing formal came out of Camp Davis, so USA and Israel can say what they want in-formally, but that doesn't mean it was what was going on. Do you really believe Israel would accept all those conditions stated there? It must be a joke for sure.
On a side note, the 1st link you gave is wrong, but I searched for it in Wikipedia and I got it.
But it's pretty hard to find anything directly in Christian theology that suggests Christians are supposed to try to impose these standards on non-Christians.
There where at least 9 high commanders of the church (I believe they where called Pope or something like that), that found exactly that in Christian theology. That's how crusades where started.
And just to make it clear with numbers that what you are saying is completely wrong and in fact bullshit. Immigrant populations for various countries. USA: 10%, Sweden: 12%, Netherlands: 10%, Norway: 8.3%, Poland: 2%. Source Wikipedia.
So the numbers show that what you say is completely wrong, a social supportive system works well in northern Europe and some of these countries have even more foreign born population living there than USA. It works, because as you can see if you actually go there, people are raised since they are born NOT to be greedy, exactly the opposite of USA. And also as can be seen, the fact a population is homogeneous (like Poland, the most homogeneous population of EU), doesn't have anything to do with the matter. So stop finding excuses, it works in here because we make it work and we believe in the system, if you don't like it, well is up to you, but if you like it and are just jealous, well, at least shut up about it, don't try to make up bullshit and lies about the reasons on why it works.
What are you talking about? Check the world stats for freedom of the press. EU countries are ALL, either less restrictive than USA or at most, some are equally restrictive.
I know things are not perfect around here when you go on a country by country basis in southern European countries and Eastern European, but most of the laws and directives of the EU commission are quite good ones for the normal citizen, you can see they are not there just to defend the rich ones.
But mostly and what shows me that you don't know what are you talking about, is that Iceland is already quite into the EU, they belong to Schengen Space and to EU free trade zone. And the talks to enter the EU are already practically finished, the only real step left for them to join us, is they own internal referendum about the subject, that should happen in 2 years.
Oh, you mean racially homogeneous like the Netherlands that also have a social system quite similar to their fellow Nordic countries and lot's of emigrants? By your chain of though, the most "racially homogeneous" (hot news man, there are not races amongst humans, there are only ethnics) of all countries in Europe, Poland should be a socialist heaven, right? Well, take a look at them.
I love when you Americans try to find excuses for why socialism in a moderate degree works better than the system you have just because of some NON issue.
It was not USA invading the country. Like in Iraq or Afghanistan, or Vietnam, or Corea. It was under the mandate of a UN resolution, they where amongst an international force that was enforcing the UN resolutions and most of them under the operational control of NATO.
You are right. Bosnia was fully independent before Milosevic left power. Still, there was no invasion of Bosnia, although NATO had an important part in terminating the conflict backing up the former UN decisions.
Yeah, I also remembered that half actually.:) Still, if you give it a bit of thought, USA actually managed to divide a country in 2 creating a social problem. And nobody really can say what would happen if their had been allowed to solve their differences by themselves instead of being the stage for a war. Perhaps today if you look at the all picture, the ALL country would be much better than North Korea is. After all, people would not rally and support a war and a dictator like they did for the actual regimen, if they didn't feel threatened and attacked like they where being by the USA.
Since when did USA invaded Bosnia? It was a NATO attack, there was no invasion and they just bombed the hell out of Serbia until they deposed Milosevic by themselves which effectively led to the independence of Bosnia (as well as other parts of ex-Yugoslavia).
And in fact let me tell you that the people of Serbia deposed the guy, DEMOCRATICALLY during the elections... this is not Africa sir.
When the government starts dictating requirements and the price, we're all screwed.
Actually, in here, we where all much better when the government was doing exactly that for electricity market, for fuel distribution market, etc. Cause now, since some companies have a dominant position in that market, the prices have sky rocketed.
When government fucks with free markets, the customer loses, always.
Yeah, tell that to all those poor, poor people living in Northern Europe. Oh the humanity.
For AES it does not help at all.
I admit I might be wrong, but isn't AES based in primes as well? If so, then quantum computing will solve it. About you statement that quantum computing might never reach an advanced enough state to solve complex problems. Well, I direct you to Quantum Entanglement in Photosynthesis recent findings. First off, water-boarding isn't torture.
Exactly. I wonder how Google checkout is still a non trusted form of Payment for an eBay auction. Are they afraid Google steals our 10$ ?

Israel acknowledged the right of Palestine to exist in 1948, 1967, 1969, 2000, 2001, and 2007
No it didn't, please direct us to a source that states that.
But it's pretty hard to find anything directly in Christian theology that suggests Christians are supposed to try to impose these standards on non-Christians.

Exactly UN troops! Not USA troops, I know a girl from here that was also there in the peacekeepers. That wasn't an invasion.

They import people to be poor, er, I mean to do the work the Saudis don't want to.
What, they also get free Mexicans like USA does?
