It's just a demo video of a concept. 3h talk time? I have no clue what you are talking about. I'm a happy owner of the original N95. It gets me thru the day (~4h music, ~1h talk, ~2h internet over 3G or wlan, random GPS usage and a few shots here and there). Sure I wouldn't mind if the battery lasted twice as long but the nightly recharge isn't that big of a deal..
ps. As you might have noticed, it's 3G not G3..
Yes but those weren't mobile phones. Wikipedia says: "The Mobira Talkman, launched in 1984, was the world's first transportable phone. In 1987, Nokia introduced the world's first handheld phone, the Mobira Cityman 900."
About as much as your predictions that are based on a 21 second video. I bet this thing here will cost way more than iPhone at launch but it's justified cos first it will for sure have the specs that go with the year 2007 (instead of 2003 iPhone) and second it wont be crippled to the end..
I'm wondering why they keep on calling 'em "Windows". Why not Microsoft "Doors"? Or more seriously perhaps "Microsoft Unix", now that would be interesting. And yes, I'm also looking so forward to a completely new kinf of GUI.
"I am one hundred percent certain that at least a couple of these companies will bring out very competitive products very soon, possibly this year."
Well first of all Nokia had a concept called AEON years ago. He re's a pic. I'd say Apple pretty much just cloned it. Second of all (and this is the really, really important thing) Apple is the one that still has not introduced a competitive product to highend smartphones like the N95 for example.
Actually it will suck and here's why: NO 3G. So perhaps it'll still be nice with wifi huh? Doubt that too. You can't see shit while typing, how is that for a nice browsing experience? I reckon it might be nice ebook reader thou:)
You obviously never had on in your hands. The GPS fix time is less than 10 seconds with my N95. Haven't used the GPS for hours in a row so I can't say how much it really drains battery. N95 supports microSDHC and SanDisk has already rolled out 4gb cards so that's nicey nice too:)
I have all the faith in about the smartest people on Earth.. they'll fix it. 0h noes I'm a slashdot expert and it'll burn don't get much credit from me:)
In my opinion anyways and I love it. Installed 10.3 last night. It feels far faster than 10.2. Stability, can't say. Hasn't crashed yet at least.
Os 2007 hacker edition is available for download. Just for your Nokia 770 (notice lack of "N"). So quit whining and go download it now :)

idiot :p
I could buy one for that price and use it as a ebook reader.
He would have used the word habitat instead of niche. The small things make all the difference..
Nokia made it far better. I wonder why they discontinued this.. I used to have one. It was great!
Office 2007 is miles ahead of Open Office. Don't have any Karma to burn anyways :)
The screen is far too small for comfortable reading and knowing Apple it's probably locked to the point of..
There's no way they'd otherwise drop the price of it by 33% less than 70 days after launch.

there goes my prediction
Apple holds no patents what so ever on multi-touch, however the word is a trademark of theirs..
:) All your government is belong to corporations... I laugh.. you cry.. I don't give a flying fuck.. downloading loads of stuff at the moment :)
I don't live in a police state :)

Well imo Nokia's S60 3rd edition fp1 browser is superior to Opera's but yeah.. :)
Well perhaps you haven't read any of his books then. *goes to browse the iHype thread of the day.

And it's still missing stuff like.. you know GPS :)

I'm sure the US population is far more urban that the Swedish or the Finnish..
