Well Finland is #190 with 15,5 pop per km and Sweden #185 with 20,0 pop per km. The USA has almost twice as large population density as Finland and about 1/3 larger than Sweden, but out of these countries still the lowest broadband penetration per capita figures. Wonder why..
Ah I'm so sick and tired of the iPhone hype. FFS it's a phone and not even that advanced one. It's so pale compared to the crown jewel Nokia N95. Sure the GUI looks cool, but in the mobile world pretty just doesn't cut it. Sure the GUI is a little prettier than series 60 3rd edition, but yeah.. so what. Where's the functionality? I smell a lot of trouble for the iPhone.. might do well in the US thou but I doubt it'll do too good in the far bigger markets in Europe and the rest of the world.
More people die in Afghanistan and Iraq thanks to the USA about daily. Virginia is a red state isn't it? I bet it sucks to die but you fuck hole republicans have it coming. My thoughts go to all the non republicans who died.. but not any more than the people of Iraq and Afghanistan who are being terrorized by US fucks. Actually I don't give a flying fuck. 30 people isn't that big a number..
These companies, like especially Nokia are very good at what they do. Nokia has released perfect phones, one after another. Feature packed, beautiful working guis, innovative design. Nokia is also the one that has developed most of these new technologies. I very, very much doubt a small company like Apple can do much apart from attaching that Apple sticker to the back of the phone..
At the moment they're not ready for happy happy joy joy European democracy. No, they need the US illusion. They need a strong leader who can do just about anything w/out asking anyone. There's so much to be done there that takes "brute force".. I just hope they someday convert to real European democracy and don't follow the US illusion..
In the book he mentions that there was a Baiji dolphin living in captivity. Why wasn't the specie saved like this? I mean dolphins are known to be able to make little babies in captivity..
At least not where I study. Personally I'm specializing in Bioinformatics, but there's quite much to chose from. Algorithms, AI study, Teaching, Computer mathematics and Game design just to name a few paths to take. As you might have guessed most of these are cross-disciplinary sciences. I'm studying math, biology and computer science.
The best robot made something like 5 km. In the second race 3 robots (if I remember correctly) were able to finish the race. I wonder if history will repeat itself. First time a utter failure and second time some make it. There's a great documentary about this race in a torrent site near you..
I tend to attend lectures if I happen to be awake, otherwise not so much. This doesn't obviously work @ exam weeks, but apart from that I pretty much live w/out a schedule:)

Nokia is by far the biggest seller of devices capable of mp3 playback. Biggest seller of digital cameras and cellphones as well.. go figure :)
