Granted the Xbox was pretty cool, but so was the Atari 2600 or the lightbulb for that matter. I'm still using Win2k to play my windows games. There just isn't a reason to upgrade.
IE7, although arguably inferior to Firefox, is much better than IE6, and for people who have not user Firefox/Opera it will be great. The rendering is better, it's more standards compliant.
I'm in community college and I certainly couldn't afford an extra $4000, I'm already $8000 in debt from tuition and books let alone rent on my living space.

Switch to Linux and never again pay for a service that would be dirt cheap if it weren't run by a bunch of profiteering gluttons.
