If an adversary has enough access to read/write to the socket that ssh-agent is processing or read the memory space that it is running in, then they probally also have enough access to keylog you typing in the passphrase or read ~/.ssh/id_dsa
This is the wrong place to ask. I doubt we'll get a single response from a person on the cutting edge of cryptanalysis who can give you a meaningful answer on the relative strength of Diffe-Hellman vs AES
Perhaps you should start with wikipedia. Diffie-Hellman is a key exchange protocol which uses public key cryptography to negotiate a symmetric key.
On top of it the patch levels for the 1.9 version break as things move along.. For example, 1.9.1p243 came along and decided that upon unlinking a file description we should close it first. This was not the previous behavior and broke Rack.
I really hope the ruby community pulls together and we get to where we were 2 years ago on the upgraded platform.

Ruby 1.9 moved to a VM architecture and with a sizable performance boost. unfortunately they also managed to break half the existing gems out there with changes to the language; slowly but surely things are moving in the right direction.
If this was: www.didmichelleobamagangbangacollegefootballteamandgetpregnant.org people would be furious with the decision that it was legal.

Your totally missing the point of the satire - if you apply the kind of logic that Beck uses on his show, you can make anyone seem guilty of anything..
The joke doesn't make any sense if you try to apply it to other people..
Accusing believers of disavowing logic is itself a far-fetched, self-inflating stance
Well, they do believe in an invisible man in the sky.
That's the difference between faith and Scientology.
What if "god/xenu/whatever" decided that Theatans are a special case of physics which somehow makes e-readers accurate?
Once you deem one religion's mythology as an acceptable belief you have to let them all in. Just because we're all "used" to jesus being called the son of god doesnt make it any more true or reasonable. We're just not shocked to hear it.
You really don't really adhere to "atheism". You simply don't believe what others have told you because it doesn't make any sense. Like leprechauns and unicorns.
I imagine the US is Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy, and Scooby (aka Scooby and the gang). This makes China the classic Scooby-Doo villain. I can hear China in my head as I type this... "If it weren't for those meddling kids!"
Everybody who went to school near Amherst, MA knows,
Fred is Amherst College
Velma is Smith College
Shaggy is Hampshire College
Daphne is Mt. Holyoke College
And my alma mater, UMass, is Scooby Doooooo..
Some guy likes to smoke a joint on Friday night, for the next month he'll test positive for marijuana
Not quite that cut and dry, if hes a once in a blue moon smoker, in relatively decent shape, he'll test positive for a week.
Canabinoid metabolites are fat soluble so when you smoke they get stored in your lipid fat cells. As your body needs energy over time, it burns these stored fat cells for energy. At the same time it re-releases the metabolites back into your blood stream which gets filtered through your kidneys and whammo into the urine stream.. If your fat and exercise right before the test, your the most likely smoker to test positive. If your skinny and you eat a giant big mac (putting your body into store-fat mode), sedetary and piss a few times (to get the current contaminated urine out of your bladder) your alot less likely to test positive - even with the same amount of time between last time smoked/amount smoked.
Now, I'd be very curious to know what this machine is detcting, it wasn't clear in TFA. Is it looking for primary traces in the users mouth and hence saliva or would it be able to detect thoose metabolites floating around in the bloodstream via the saliva.
I first installed an early version of slackware, back in 95 or so. I don't quite remember how many floppies it was, but a couple friends and I were able to split the downloads up between us. One boot floppy, one root floppy and a significant number of installation floppies (that we soon learned to copy to the HD before installing). We got this through a hole in the state library system's gopher access number.
I spent a large number of sleepless nights chatting on the 50 person(!) BBSs, facinated by the ability to chat with so many people at once instead of the one or two that I could with the better set-up local dialup BBSs. A little later I learned about ytalk and got to have more "personal" (wink wink, nudge nudge) chats with 1 or 2 people at a time again.:-D
Eventually, I met my wife on the Illinois Institute of Technology computer club's BBS, shadow. Yep, that annoying sound a modem makes was "the handshake o' love" to me.
Now excuse me while I go see if there are any kids on my lawn.
This was right around my first install - you used to have download the slackware disks in series so if you wanted network you got the N disks or the D series of disks for development. @ 9600 baud, downloading and writing like 23 floppies later..

Actually I find Stewart's interviews with Conservatives to be quite interesting. Unless they start spouting nonsense he has some very wonderful diaglogues and hes good at getting to the bottom of whats being discussed. Sometimes I wish he had a non-comedy show so we could see this more.
However, if the subject (from either side actually, he did this with Pelosi the other night) starts spouting BS, he generally opens up and will openly argue. The latter is clearly biased by the hosts views, but the former is very well done..
There should be no errors. Period. Your program should not allow errors.
If i'm writing a calculator and the user types/clicks 4 / 0 - tell me what behavior is appropriate.

Neither does a big guy in the sky who made everything, but didnt do it very well
So, what your saying here is that God is a drunk Leprechaun
I think your saying you're an A-A-Theist. But we can just cancel out the double not and call you a theist.

Its available in Ubuntu for the current version and, last I read, will be the default in Kosmic..
LSD in the presence of light/oxygen rapidly degrades to ISO-LSD which is inactive. Its been called an exquisitely delicate molecule.

Lynx to the rescue! Lynx should be the only browser allowed on secure networks. Hehe.
Too bad you just got owned by the buffer overflow the hackers found in the VT100 emulator library.
Cue the response of the typical /. user:
Too bad you forgot to turn off images and just got pwned by the 0 day buffer overflow the hackers discovered in libjpeg.

My thoughts exactly. There is no reboot after you hit the Blue Planet Of Death...
