Really? A lot of people are on contracts and every two years their provider says "Hey, you can get a new phone for free if you renew your contract. Which one do you want?" and they say "cool, what are my options?" etc. etc.

So it's no wonder that Sweden would have a negative population growth. All pregnancies must result from artificial insemination or in vitro fertilization?

I suppose that when they say "The era of X is over" they mean the era when X *is dominant* is over. They're not saying X will be no more. Yes, we still have radio, but it is no longer our primary means of receiving entertainment and news. (and hasn't been for quite a while). ...Or they're just finding a way to spin some numbers to make it dramatic.

Mod up. I saw this on Metheny's website when I went there looking to see if I could stream or download samples of his newer music. I could do the former BTW.
    Long-time Pat Metheny fan.

There was also a project in Australia to play a clarinet robotically. Much harder, if you ask me, than playing a percussion instrument robotically.

You're not a verb. "Is" is a verb. Quite a common one. And "doing" is also a verb. In the sentence you quoted, they work together. In this case, "is" is an auxiliary or "helping" verb.

Dr. Spork was simply refuting the logic that Khopesh used when he assumed that Roentgenium was denser than Uranium simply based on its atomic number. There are many elements with higher atomic number than Osmium but none denser (that we know of).

No, because you don't automatically classify them as *terrorists*, you classify them as the *people you need to check*. Currently, we classify everybody, including toddlers and 70 year old nuns, as people you need to check, which is orders of magnitude greater "false positive rate".
