    Windows is always talking to MS. For example, do a local file search, it opens a connection to microsoft servers. I haven't looked deep into what it sends, but why connect at all?

    I know this so called uber-programmer, who is just like this, perhaps worse. instead of shoving people around, he fires them. He simply will not tolerate mistakes and will blow a cork when he sees them. He will berate you, belittle you, embarrass you if front of every one, then maybe fire you.
    Rather standard behavior for upper level, ego driven programmers it seems.

    It is common for the the movie industry to shoot scenes from drones. So they can't do that anymore? I am sure however Hollywood can do what ever the want, for the are the golden lamb.

    It confounds me that still, in today's world, new technologies are designed as such:

    Design core features.
    Write and test/debug core features.
    Then, if there is time, do a security audit and glue some security on top otherwise just release what you got.

    Security must be built in from step one, step two, etc. and must be and integral part of the design.
    Have we not learned our lesson yet?

    It's far worse now, and you are right, my pre ethanol weed trimmer, all the hoses were destroyed , they just basically dissolved.

    The problem I find is it goes bad after 6 months to a year or so. Leaving a varnish like gunk residue behind. If I don't completely drain it from my snow blower in spring, and lawnmower and weed wacker in fall, the carburetors need complete overhaul and cleaning by the time I need them - the jets get clogged. You can see the crap in the carb bowl and tanks. Never used to be like this before ethanol.

    Because it's a part of the larger anti-science sentiment going on thees days. People are so convinced they know all they will need to know, and science is evil and an unnecessary waste of money.

    And then later, along came CALI, so we could play it on the internet.. It was so addictive, perhaps they shouldn't bring it back..:)
    Another game I would like to see re done is Battle Zone, yet another addictive game.

    This is definitely an example of an examiner failing in their public duty.

    They are doing their duty. They are making sure that large corps are making plenty of profit, thereby strengthening our economy! Win win for all!

    I'm so glad that some countries have the courage to deal with this internet thing properly. I mean really folks, we can't have people running around spouting their ideas, disrupting the natural order of society. It's about time some one took affirmative action against this abomination that is the internet. The though of ordinary people saying what they want, doing what they want, making what they want, and OMG sharing what they want - It's just crazy! The internet needs people with a higher purpose to control, filter, and even dismantle this thing that is so poisonous to society. My god man, giving people free reign on the internet is like giving a machine gun to a baby! Wake up people!
