The point I was making is that the timing of this is suspicious. It only was announced after Telstra decided it didn't want to be part of the NBN. If Telstra was split before the NBN fallout then I would say fair play. But when it is announced as a result of political games and affects mum and dad investors then I take issue. I don't have Telstra shares, nor am I against a breakup but it should be because it needs to be done... not because Kevin is trying to force Telstras hand because they snobbed his NBN plan. If they played 'yes man' to Kevin and helped the NBN be implemented I doubt Kevin would floating the idea.

But Telstra doesn't want to play ball and that makes Kevins plans next to impossible. This is just Kevin getting his own back and forcing Telstra to play ball at the cost of the thousands of Mum and Dad investors that were encouraged to invest in Telstra. A double financial kick in the guts given the current financial climate. If Kevin really wanted to bring about this change *he should have done it before now* ... not right after Telstra flipped him and his badly thought out national broadband network the middle finger. Kevin is still the snot nosed debate team nerd he was in highschool, he's just more powerful and narcissistic now.

Also do not overlook the ethical / religious motivations of people, i buy free range eggs not based on cost or taste but for ethical opinions. He did not taunt others unless you consider 'heros win again' a taunt, when actually it's more a statement of fact. I did a different driving course and saw this being taught and asked about it. I made reference to the handbrake only to indicate the timing of the brake and flick.

I'm metioning it in the context of police chases. The racing I do doesn't allow it. Basically it can be effective at higher speeds such as 150km+ it is based around the idea that as the pursuit car front bumper draws level with the lead car rear bumper the lead car stabs heavily at the brake causing the chase car to move to the lead or in a position where the former lead car now could be (depending on reaction of other driver) in a position to turn into the rear half of the former pursuit car. Of course if it isn't pulled off then weight transfers to the front of the car making the lead car more susceptible to a pit. It really is a brake and flick. Like a handbrake turn where its a flick and pull. It is not a brake annnnnndddd.... then turn. Its taught here in the evadance advanced driving courses.
