As a personal anecdote, in university, if I studied for an exam when drunk (which was occasionally), I realized tended did much better if I was also a bit drunk when I actually took the exam (not a hang-over, but just a bit buzzed).
Roger Ebert gave that movie a rave review. It was like 3.5/4 stars and he compared it to Little Shop of Horrors.
The James Bond film at that time would have been The Living Daylights, starring Timothy Dalton. It worked out well for you. The Living Daylights isn't bad, but Back to the Beach is a cult classic.
Either that or there also wasn't any 'south vietnamese' government during the Vietnam police action, which was at the time heavily supported by the US, but just a conflict between North Vietnam and the US.
You are right. There was no South Vietnam when the US was fighting its dirty war.
You can call them "rebels", but they were fighting for the US, just as the Ukrainian rebels are fighting for Vladimir Putin.
Oceans will rise. Plantlife will die out. Atmospheric oxygen won't get replenished (at least not nearly as fast.) Billions could potentially face long-term droughts and famines.
And during the US election you threw vitriol at anyone bringing up the number of deaths and "suicide by two gunshots in the back of the head" surrounding the Clintons.
What makes those claims absurd conspiracy theories and yours about Putin not?
I think you answered your own question, in a roundabout way.
Cold War explosives are becoming unstable and they tend to explode on their own, especially when there is insufficient money to maintain proper storage.
You know what else is becoming unstable? Vladimir Putin's political enemies and journalists. They're dropping like flies, literally. Earlier this week, one mysteriously flew out a fifth floor window.
The Senate voted 50-48 along party lines Thursday to repeal an Obama-era law that requires internet service providers to obtain permission before tracking what customers look at online and selling that information to other companies.
Well, so much for the argument that the Democrats and Republicans are just the same.
Not one Democrat voted for this bill. Not a single one.
Well.. While we are making stupid claims... How about Obama's trips to the Med, where he and his wife took separate aircraft and a boat load of friends? And what makes you think protecting the president in FL is all that much more expensive than having him at the White House? It's not like they don't have SS staff in both places at this point...
You silly person. Think about what you just said. "what makes you think protecting the president in FL is all that much more expensive than having him at the White House?" and then you finish with, "It's not like they don't have SS staff in both places at this point.".
If they have SS service staff in both places (and of course, Trump Tower plus the homes of Uday, Qusay and Ivanka), then that's where the extra expense comes in. I'll bet if you sit down and really give it a lot of serious thought, you'll come up with how this "multiplication" thing works.
Trump could make up NASA's budget shortfall by skipping a few weekend getaways to Mar-a-Lago on the taxpayers' dime and maybe having his wife and son move into the White House after the kid gets out of school in five weeks.
It only applies to countries that are part of Trump's Muslim ban.
The Trump travel ban affects six countries (at least the new, improved one does) and the new restriction on electronic devices affects eight countries.
I'm not sure which countries make up the additional two.
Maybe it's because they WEREN'T "investigating Trump" at the time, and still aren't.
According to the FBI director, there is an investigation into whether "associates of Mr. Trump were in contact with Russian officials, and whether they colluded with them."
Now, you may say this is not "investigating Trump", but in government corruption investigations, the FBI always works their way from "associates" inward to the main guy. These are not people that anyone would trust not to "flip" on the boss if they're facing jail time.
The noose is tightening. You can tell from the panicked tweets.
Maybe because such a law was recently implemented in Europe
OK, but laws like the Republicans are proposing, criminalizing protest have been passed in places like Egypt, Russia, Turkey, etc. There are people doing jail time for protesting in those places.
Let's not bullshit. We both know the reason the usual suspects are expressing their Sunday night outrage (or Monday morning, for those being outraged from Macedonia and points East) over a law regarding inaccurate statements.
I don't know why anyone would want to buy a streaming service from the company that brought us the Gremlin and the Pacer.
My personalized emoji is basically The Temptation of St. Anthony by Hieronymus Bosch, except with the face of a kitty superimposed over St Anthony.
The good news is that if you drink enough, it won't matter if you have health insurance.
I think you may have been my grad school adviser.

And that's just in Trump's first term.
By "rebels", you mean Russians.

And just yesterday, one was mysteriously gunned down in Kiev.

Since the election, we've had nine prominent opponents of Vladimir Putin become unstable and expire mysteriously. Such coincidence!
Well, so much for the argument that the Democrats and Republicans are just the same.

Another member of the Freedom Caucus heard from.
But those emails! It would have been a disaster to have a president under FBI investigation, right?
If you don't send me $75,000 in bitcoins by noon Friday (CST), I will release the personal information of all Anonymous Cowards on Slashdot.
Nobody said there would be math in this comments section.
Next time, could we get some kind of warning?
Thank you. This is what I sarcastically asked for. Of course climate ACG is real, except to Trump supporters.
Until they can show peer reviewed research showing climate change, I'm not believing it.
It's a Chinese hoax.
I'm glad we got that sorted out.
I'm sure the FSB would be glad to send some guys over to look out for the extended Trump family.
Nothing matters.
