I agree with you, but the issue here is this: let's say some other MP3 player comes out and blows the iPod away in your opinion. It's been a few years since you bought your iPod so you want to get this new player - but all the tracks you bought on the iTunes Store can ONLY be played back on an iPod. So you have to do the burn & rip dance for however many gigs and gigs of music files you have, or you're just stuck with Apple.
Use Smart Playlists. I've had trouble finding other uses for Smart Folders/lists elsewhere in my mac, but for iTunes it's an incredibly easy way to organize your content.
I'm really curious - what exactly was people's problem with the brushed metal theme? I keep reading people's posts that they're so glad it's gone from iTunes, etc., but I liked it! It matched my iPod Mini. Where does all this backlash come from?
"no IT manager in his right mind will go with an office suite that doesn't support scripting"
Yeah, but:
"Microsoft also indicates that it is discontinuing support of Visual Basic scripting in the next version of Office for Mac, but on the flip side, the company said it's going to increase support for standard Mac scripting methods like AppleScript and Automator."
"I noticed that my system out of the box with 512 of RAM was dog slow when you start loading iPhoto, or any more then 2 apps."
You know, for the first several hours of uptime after starting Tiger for the first time, depending on how much data you have, the Spotlight is indexing all your drives in the background and the system is SLOW AS MOLASSES. Like, painfully so. But it speeds back up after it finishes all that initial indexing.

Yeah, and if you choose the format that looses, you could use a lot of these discs to STOP doors, too!

But does it run Linux?
Yeah, but:

In the wizarding world, they've been able to re-grow bones for ages. But I hear it's nasty business.
There are some hand gestures that flash through my head that I'd rather not have a robot execute...
In a related story, Microsoft employees' bragging rights are pretty much gone.

I was hoping .xxx would be established, thereby freeing up hornyteensluts.com for a legitimate, non-porn business.
