    Configure your DHCP server (your router in this case) to always give the same IP to the machines that you run server software on. It's trivial, really.

    I share your view completely, and have done so for quite some time. I also try to inform people I talk to about this. Marriage should have no place in any law or regulation. It should belong to religion only, and thus be completely optimal both in theory and in practice.

    Then of course, I take it a step further too, as you can see from the URL I keep spamming here.

    Of course. Since the price is higher, they get more money per unit sold, and they probably know how bogus that "oh-but-CFLs-will-last-much-longer" claim is, so they know they will sell as many of those bulbs as the old ones.

    I suppose you could grow trees and burn them, like my parents did in the 1970s when heating oil got expensive. Not environmentally friendly because you still get CO2 out.

    Guess where that CO2 came from. That's right: The trees got it from the air. Burning trees won't add anything to the air that wasn't already there in the first place. Burning coal and oil adds CO2 from millions of years ago, which is the real problem.

    What complete and utter bullshit. Like they never released any movies on VHS or Laserdisc because there wasn't any way to stop people from seeking.

    Do you seriously believe that the studious would rather stop making movies than releasing them on media where you can skip commercials?

    Fortunately, for most people, money is not everything, nor even that important. A big reason for working on free software is simply to get your name out there. To be recognized. This is exactly what the person robs you of, doing this.

    With all the violence against the English language I've seen here, most of it coming from 'native' speakers, I wouldn't be so sure about that.

    For example, I've never seen any of my non-American friends mistake "your" for "you're", something that seems to be very common, but makes the text very difficult to read. Possibly even more difficult for us non-natives since we, at least I, tend to read English a lot more than we hear or speak it.

    Huh? So why is all my music like Mike Oldfield and Tangerine Dreams and others that made really long songs always split into part 1 and 2, where part 1 is 20-25 minutes on side A and part 2 is also 20-25 minutes on side B?
