    My guess is that there is only a small percentage of the worlds population are paranoid enough to be afraid of things they dont know about.

    Seriously, afraid of things they dont know about, read it again, think about it...

    If leaders act on such irrational traits as paranoia then intelligence isnt useful anyway, then will just dream up a threat (perhaps like Saddam WMD's that where an imminent threat).

    He is bravely and selflessly putting his life and liberty on the line, he is standing up for the rest of us, these leaks assist democracies around the world to hold their government accountable and serve as a warning not to misbehave in future.

    If the worst thing you think of him is that he is a hypocrite, then i suggest you should still support him and his work, lest you demand perfection from everybody.

    If Assange thinks everything should be open, why isnt he (or wikileaks) releasing all the information, why are they redacting there information to protect individuals.

    You act like you havent read any of the stories because you are asking so many stupid questions that everyone knows the answers to, yet you are saying you've read up on it.

    You say you havent made up your mind, but you question every defense of Assange, you dodnt even allow him the innocent until proven guilty right (he must go to trial because he might be guilty).

    Clear you have made up your mind.

    Some of the software included on the firmware is GPLv2 (or later), so perhaps GPLv3 could be applied to unlock the firmware ?

    They have stated that they will fix the T-Hub and the T-Box is fine.

    The T-Box has notification that it uses GPL'ed software, provides a link to the GPL License, but they dont think to provide a link to the source, so i dont see how they are in compliance with the GPL with the T-Box.

    There also might be issues with the T-Box in regard to "scripts used to control compilation and installation of the executable" as the firmware is encrypted.

    Does anyone know the accepted interpretation of that part of the GPLv2.0 as it relates to firmware, should they be obligated to provide keys to decrypt the firmware so the GPL'ed binaries can be "installed", or is that wishfull thinking on my behalf ?

    Pity the dude trying to write a compiler to interpret his (or worse, my) pictures...

    Software is primarily made for computers to read, it is the job of a programmer to translate real world problems into the machine world.

    Damn idiot money men think that using high level languages so idiots can write software is going to lead somewhere other than lots of idiotic software...

    Easy fix, Have a fourth big red button that confirms one of the other three big red button push.

    With this safety mechanism, they wouldnt have to worry about accidentally pushing a big red button, they could press them all the time for drills, playing pranks on foreign visitors etc.

    Dont know about Duke Nuken Forever, but it took about 7 or 8 years for them to release Team Fortress 2.

    TF2 has succeeded because it was released when it ready, and has been extremely well maintained.

    Its an example of why gamers should manage gaming companies.
