I have heard of D before, but now I went for a closer look, and just fell in love with it. I'm currently writing a Qonk clone in D, it's very elegant and comfortable to work with.
The major problem is that it can't bind with C++ libraries (plain C works ok, my game even uses SDL, and I already tested a small OpenGL program too.)
I never heard of any fraud on electronic voting here, but I saw a lot of fraud back on the paper days. The fraud was acessible to everyone, now it's almost impossible, except for the higher officials.
If you are going to count on paper, why go for eletronic voting in the first place?
Here in Brazil we have eletronic voting since 1996, and with 100% national coverage since 2000. No paper trail, no re-count needed, almost-instant (the machines are not conected, the 3-1/2" 1.4MB disks have to travel back for the counting) results, and no complaints so far.
How long is too long? I have it running for whole three hours now, still no result. relevant info from/proc/cpuinfo: model name : AMD Opteron(tm) Processor 248 cpu MHz : 2193.796 cache size : 1024 KB bogomips : 4377.80
Specially if the this tool could work with the various regexp formats around (sed, vim, perl, etc). Like, you type a regexp in a format, and it also shows the equivalent regexp in the other formarts.
Let me be the first to second it. Vim is simply awesome, it's a daily rejoyce to work with it.
Every minute spent learning it's multitude of features will save you a hundred minutes with gained produtivity. And it never stops, you allways learn a bit more everyday. There's nothing it can't do, you just haven't learned it yet. If you're lazy to study it's excelent documentation, just ask at vim@vim.org or #vim.
It's in the top five best software ever, along with: - Linux, for saving my soul from Windows; - LaTeX, for saving my soul from Word; - Quake, for endless fun with my friends; - Screen, to master the text terminal environment.
But one suggestion I would make to the community is to use the Adobe Wish Form to make specific feature requests, such as support for 64-bit and PowerPC platforms and alternate OS such as FreeBSD, so the comments are more productive.
In situations like that I go to shop and buy first thing I like.
I exactly the opposite: I don't buy until things clear up.
I would love to buy, even if it was expensive, a nice solution for viewing movies from my computer, but there seems to be no clear choice right now. Until then, I'll stick to my (ultra high definition, if compared to any TV) 19"CRT monitor, which is not bad since I view from a close distance, on a comfortable coach.
> no, maybe, yes, notfud, isatrap (tagging beta)
I second that.

See an overview of D, and read about it's contract implementation.
No complaints mostly means no frauds.

Kiss my shiny underdeveloped ass!
Sorry, but screen is a window manager.
I have it running for whole three hours now, still no result.

The so called "recording industry" is just not needed anymore. Just get your fortune and invest in another productive area, and get over it.
Go away. Please.
So, why do you insist on using this dumb OS?
Worse than dumb, closed, so you can't fix it!

Don't forget that every time you masturbate, god kills a kitten.
Is this GNUFlash the same as Gnash?
312 million? I'll take two.
No, no, three, I'll give one to my nephew.
Oh, wait, you said billion? Nevermind...
hehe, the "isatrap" /. tag was never so apropiately fun.
I want to invest all my little fortune on it!
Where do I sign?
Word is by far the most horrible, painful software I ever used in my life.
You don't use it, you fight against it.
Believe me, even for your mom, it is actually easier to use LaTeX than Word.

Which other system would allow me to play 1920 pixels wide movies, like this? http://orange.blender.org/download
For me it's useless, but I'm sure it will help give Linux a more serious look for the PHB out there..
Will it let me respawn after two seconds now?
Back to q3a..
There's no winning move.
Everybody dies, including the non-playing ones.
that thought it was Eddie at the first glance?
