How would this be different than what they already do? You've got to show ID before you even enter the terminal to head through security. Granted, people could switch boarding passes and get on a different plane, but in the end would that really matter?
Good point, but you can't really do an honest test of your security systems if you tell your staff that it's going to happen. I really don't know how the police would look at being called out to something like this unless they were actually informed it was going to happen first. Something like the company's security chief would inform the police that they were going to run a systems test during the week of 12/12-12/19 and that they might get a phone call about responding. Who knows.
You clearly know nothing about military life, or how the government operates. MC are an important part of getting information out to both the public and internally.
Mass Communication Specialist (MC) are Public Affairs and Visual Information experts. They present the Navy story to audiences in the Navy and to the rest of the world through a variety of media. MCs write and produce print and broadcast journalism news and feature stories for military and civilian newspapers, magazines, television and radio broadcast stations. They record still and video photography of military operations, exercises, and other Navy events. They serve overseas, on ships, and at stateside commands as photographers, public affairs specialists, newspaper and magazine staff, and TV and radio station staff and talent. MCs also create graphic designs in support of the public affairs mission, create and manage official websites, and perform high-speed, high-volume graphic reproduction.
The duties performed by MCs include:
* Prepare and write news and feature articles for publication
* Photograph events for publication and historic documentation
* Operate and maintain a variety of state-of-the-art still and video cameras
* Operate computer-based graphics software and desktop publishing systems
* Create original visual information displays and graphics
* Multi-media design and production
* Design and manage public and secure websites
* Layout and design military newspapers and magazines

Since when is it wrong for a military or government organization to have staff work on public relations? Which is pretty much what propaganda is anyway (the spreading of ideas, information, or rumor for the purpose of helping or injuring an institution, a cause, or a person).
I work for a small business and I have been slowly outsourcing our email to GMAIL its free and it is easier and less work and expense on our end.
Are security concerns not an issue for your company? Do you feel Gmail is secure enough to handle "important company business"? The reason I ask is that like many other companies we too are facing increasing costs for email and was curious about how Gmail might address encryption, security, etc.
Most government IT departments have blocked p2p sites and issued policies against installing p2p programs and improper use of federal computer systems and resources. However, some offices still allow users to perform their own software installations which sometimes can lead to a p2p program getting installed.
Sometimes people just don't know any better, or don't pay attention to policy.

I really hope its a big rug.
The holographic concept of the Vaio Zoom looks pretty cool. Too bad it'll probably cost an arm and a leg to replace a broken screen.
Someone should tell him that the new NFS actually has no cops and is about legal racing this time
Well there goes all the fun . . .
Where is this at??? I've never had to show any ID unless I was actually going THROUGH the security checkpoint.
This is what I was referring to. Sorry if it wasn't clear.I've never had to show id anywhere else at the airport just walking in...
Nor have I. Why would the TSC folks worry about facial expressions if you weren't actually going through security and boarding a plane?Airport security would handle the other situations.
This was modded as flamebait?
Why? I posted a non-threatening comment with a legitimate question.
Nice job mods . . . happy freakin' new year to you too.

Government waste? Didn't congress decide to make the switch to DTV? Since they did, I can see them offering to help folks with the transition.
http://www.dtv.gov/consumercorner.html#faq1 - Congress mandated that February 17, 2009 would be the last day for full-power television stations to broadcast in analog.Realistically, how many people don't already subscribe to satellite TV or already have digital cable?

Nope, not by MY definition at all . . .
Merriam-Webster's though - http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?va=propaganda/
That's fine. Take exception. But by definition there's pretty much no difference between the two.
Public relations is propaganda . . . why get all bent out of shape about it?

Sweet!
Thanks for the recommendation. Any other homebrew-type games out there that kids might like?
My 6 year-old loves Mario Kart . . .

I'd be willing to give it a try before looking at Vista. Heck, I might give it a try on my next PC.
does anyone see Bill and Company significantly improving Vista before they stop supporting XP?
Microsoft Support Lifecycle
Awesome . . .
If Michael Jackson is cloned, is it against the law for him to play with himself as a child?
some of these are good
So you're a Dick huh . . .

I've learned about a new concept . . . how a first post can be redundant.
some people have way too much time on their hands.
Hold on to the night . . . that's all you need to do.
Just hold on to the night.
My mom found a great deal on the Playbox 450 . . . it plays those Blu-HD discs and that new game Half-Lo 4 is awesome.
