It too bad that even $899 Macs come with pos gma 950 and only 512 ram Apple needs to have good $1000 level systems with slots and real video cards with out build in monitors and / or they need to come with Mac OS x86 for all x86 systems.
most of the on board raid and some raid cards are part hard ware and part software also you can not boot form software raid 5 useing windows build in raid.
But gma 950 will also be not optimal for windows vista and what if thay need to use windows for some things at school and school gives them vista at a low cost.
How hard can it be for apple or NVIDIA to write drivers for there chip set / video cards same thing with ATI?
Intel, NVIDIA, and ATI are the three big chip set makers so they coming out with good drivers for Mac OSX may not be that hard.
Sound may be a issue but NVIDIA is working on sound storm 2 and then we may just need Creative to make some OSX drivers for it sound blaster cards.
How can apple go after the high end market with out cross fire or SLI support in there systems? Also $899 systems with GMA 950 and only 512 ram with video eating up about 80 meg+ and because of the on board video you need fill both slots with 256 meg ram sticks is a bad idea.
What will happen if apple does not come with about $1000 system with a real video card? People will buy the cheaper system and when they try to run a game / or windows vista they will get poor performance and I think there will be some people who will not want an iMac as they will want to use there own monitor.
Too bad that osx only runs on apples hardware and If thay thing that the only desktops thay going to make a $600 mac mini with pos video and a $1800 and up one with with 2 cpus and good video + slots is going to work. Thay need a mac with one cpu and good video + slots if thay want for more people to have macs.
Gameworks needs to fix the Pinballs, update the roms and trun the sound volume up at the Schaumburg, Il Location. The people working there don't seem to know that much about fixing them. Thay do have new stern games and the rom updates that stern comes out with make game play better and you can download them for free form stern web site.

Wow the cop stopped you for going 1 over most let you do 5 or more over. Even more on interstates. On I-294 the speed limit is 55 but most traffic does 70+. I was also on the PA turnpike and the cops let me do 70 in a 65.
yes I did talk to a lineman about this and he said that they go out less but they take more time to find where they failed and a few days after a rain storm water can get in to them. When they need to fix them they need to wait for the phone, cable and others to come out a mark there cables / pipes slowing down repair.
Also there some underground wires near me that needs to be aboveground to get over 3 railroad tracks.
