cable tv?? they where taking a free OTA feed and putting it on the cable line and for some people that was the way to ota as some people did not get a good ota signal and you where paying for the cable systems line and there antenna. Some people where able to get the same stuff for if they put up there own ota antenna at there own cost.
later came the non OTA pay stuff (some area had uhf scrambled tv before areas got cable)
also back then you where about to get C-BAND and get lots of free stuff but you had to pay alot for dish and other stuff.
comcast seems to be that way and it seems to be bad for customers when there over scheduled techs are not on time and when some times the phone people have no idea about why it's not working and they need to get some other person to help you.

also there subcontractor techs need to move in house as some cable guys don't do a good job or don't even know what they are doing.

They don't do that on Interstates they may lower the speed from 65-70 to 60-55 but they can't hide signs. Also you can get away with 65 in 55 zones on Interstates any ways.

isp had lots of cost in ruining news groups needing lot's of big raid setups in just one part.
yet in some areas you can do 65 in a 55 and you don't get a ticket and the cop just passes you by. Same thing with 70 in a 65.
