I agree regarding the thickness (bacon tastes better with at least double the "normal" US thickness), but no one in America fries bacon in oil, crappy or otherwise. That's the fat from the bacon itself, and its spattering browning goodness is what creates the deliciousness.

Making money is priority 1, and making money requires the specialty legal/financial/scientific/medical/foo software that is only made for windows (NT 4.0) and which requires the user to be logged in with administrator privileges. And don't even think of setting up a remote desktop scenario, because the specialty legal/financial/scientific/medical/foo software needs to interact with the version of IE (6) and MS Office (97) they have installed to print to their local printer in their office which is parallel only; if they print to a copy-room printer they violate some federal regulation. Plus they don't want to walk down the hall and type in their passcode on the printer to release the document then wait while it prints.

Okay then. Subtract the porn and video games from the equation. Does that magically make guys suddenly less awkward around women? If what he's suggesting is happening, then it's not the porn and video games, it's the lack of contact with women; it's just delayed adolescence.

If you can't understand this difference than you need to start looking for sanity in yourself before you point the finger at someone else.

  20. Large-scale blackmail, extortion, fraud, vilification, incitement, etc., are all possibilities if the Goog were so inclined.

And a whistleblower would eventually notify a federal agency and they'd be busted. Google might do a lot of illegal things? Yes, scary. Scarier still: The government could use the information to identify the locations of the "undesirables" of a given decade, and efficiently do away with them. Depending on common traffic patterns, it could help identify "undesirables" themselves ("sir, 300 license plates have been identified as being in the five cities where recent 'Anonymous' protests occurred"). And because it's the government, they have the threat of force to back such use. Who are the whistleblowers going to tell? Who's going to bust the government when it grows too much? The media? Assange? Google?
