Jokes aside, I've gotten Opensolaris to install on only one machine out of five that I tried. The Sparc version of Opensolaris wouldn't get past the initial root password screen, and the i386 version wouldn't work with SATA drives.
By the time I read the article and looked at Prism's website, they had already replaced (doctored?) the images. Any chance of using this utility to find out whether they foolishly just doctored out the watermarks?
Actually, I know more than a few new-to-linux people that download random rpms once they know the rpm command. It sucks because they get owned, but then whine to me "you said linux was more secure!"
To some extent, I see it as symptomatic of that whole "Don't trust any government under any circumstances, and you've gotta own guns so the King of England can't take you back,
The big T.J. didn't mention the King. He mentioned Governments. He wanted the populace armed so that their elected representative(s) didn't become the new King(s).
Roll 4, drop lowest. Roll 3d6 for all attributes, place as chosen. Full hitpoints at first level. Personal Initiative bonus for dexterity reaction adjustment (despite the manual stating explicitly that the adj. _doesn't_ do that). Of course, these are all pre-WotC, but you know what I'm getting at. Eventually, as gaming groups merge and mutate, 3.x/4.x house rules will eventually find their way into the rule books not because WotC thought they were a good idea, but because everyone already played that way.
If she can't write, make a talking board; Use OO calc, some cardboard, and a large printer to make a sturdy board with a large-type keyboard with a lot of extra words written on it like "want" "change" "how" "who" "what" "when" "where" "why" etc. If she has a favorite phrase, put that on there too. That way, she can just raise an eyebrow or wink and point to her catch-phrase.
If she's anything like my friend was though, she'll resist using it like crazy. My friend's fingers were getting swollen, so she couldn't write well anymore, but she was too proud to use something she thought she didn't need. Instead, we had to play protracted games of pictionary.
My school had no such specialization. Sure, there were AP science courses, but the "shop kids" had to take science and math too, and the "nerds" had to take shop, and art, and english, and gym... Everybody took everything. I don't think it was until Senior year (17-18 years old) that we got to choose a special class (like the "shop kids" learning auto mechanics, or the "nerds" taking AP physics or calculus).
Darn, I shouldn't have qualified that.;)
Isaiah 8:22 " Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness."
I added some extra verses from Amos since Amos' verse 5:20 doesn't make much sense without them (God's dealing with an Idol-worship phase in Israel)
Amos 5:16-20
"16 Therefore this is what the Lord, the LORD God Almighty, says: "There will be wailing in all the streets and cries of anguish in every public square. The farmers will be summoned to weep and the mourners to wail.
17 There will be wailing in all the vineyards, for I will pass through your midst," says the LORD.
18 Woe to you who long for the day of the LORD! Why do you long for the day of the LORD ? That day will be darkness, not light.
19 It will be as though a man fled from a lion only to meet a bear, as though he entered his house and rested his hand on the wall only to have a snake bite him.
20 Will not the day of the LORD be darkness, not light -- pitch-dark, without a ray of brightness?"
Matthew 8:12 "But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Note that the kingdom in reference isn't "the Kingdom"
Matthew 22:13 "Then the king told the attendants, 'Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Matthew 25:30 "And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
Sorry, just been reading a little too much Matthew.
Edit: Bleh, I hate/.'s text formatting. I wish it had sane defaults.

Quite right. Hell is referred to as "the outer darkness" or "the outside" much more often. Essentially, Christians fear the separation from God because communion with God is seen as the ultimate goal. I suppose a Buddhist would look at that and say "desire for heaven is what makes separation from God into Hell"
If it's Diffrent Strokes, they'll hire an all new (and young) cast, except for Gary Coleman. Mr. Drummond will be 10 years younger than Gary.
Whatchu talkin 'bout Deagol?
Oh, they're worrying about everyone they meet who does own their product too. They're worried that person A will get tired of the product and legally give it to person B.
Everyone's been talking about it on TV, thus, given a few minutes, it is 'news'. If I don't remember having seen it, it's new to me!
Maybe it really started out as "There's not a sucker born every minute", then the negation was dropped over time. ;)

Invite RMS, then sell tickets to a well-arranged meeting of the minds. Make it profitable for yourself.

In Soviet Russia, smart, nice-looking mail-order bride gives hard stuff to /you/.
That's a reference to an old story where a provider's phone monkey argued with a guy that .02 dollars == .02 cents.
Or the ionic flying machine from popular mechanics in the 70's that flopped terribly?

Which means more screwdriver monkeys in their local PC [sweat/regular]shops. It can be a good or bad thing, but it's not a useless thing.

I'm surprised they didn't do JabberJaw after the Scooby-Doo Movie.
Ancient spirits of evil, transform this decayed form to Thundercats: The Movie!
Might I direct you to your nearest Art Movie-Theater? Of course, most of them suck, but there are a few gems.
Heck no, I'm a BOFH, baby. ;D
That's awesome. One should be built next to a steam vent too.
With a lot of people, the alert could read:
