Can anyone explain how the PS3 is this powerful?

What's the true meaning though? Does this mean that Ken was pushed out because of some of the more famous gaffs that he and others made leading up to the launch of the PS3?

Is it really that serious an issue when the man leading the charge is the CEO of a rival company? Next you'll be telling me that the CEO of AMD thinks that Intel is making inferior products.

Seriously though how can you love a game console so much? Who cares?

Are we sure that linux was a big selling point for that system? I think the folks that altered the x-box were a vanishingly small minority. I must disagree I don't think lnux will help propel millions of PS3 sales.

Though I agree on the games part. It may be a $600 but if a game comes out at $60 and drops to say $30 6 months down the line (greatest hits or whatever it was called) then it will be easier for folks to swallow than the neo geo was.

Which is just another reason to take this with a grain of salt. I don't know about everyone else but it seems that gaming news sites aren't exactly tops on the ethics side of things.

Seems likely that Sony exerted some influence to have statements like the above dropped on the blogs so it doesn't look as sad and foolish as it really is....that or their pact with the devil kicked in and everybody will herald the $500 price tag and cheesy imitiations of motion sense and online market place as ground breaking.

Y'know I was beginning to lose hope. I thought I wouldn't find my favorite AC rabidly defaming the xbox 360.

I don't get it. Why do you persist? Do you get some sort of personal satisfaction out of blasting the x-box? Was your family killed by rogue MS executives? What does it matter how the x-box has done? Why do you want to see it fail on a personal level?

Seriously though love these posts. Gives me a good chuckle every time I see one.

So are you in love with Sony or did Microsoft just hurt you? I swear I love reading these threads not so much for the information but for the outright hatred this AC spews towards the x-box. And for the record, I don't care who "wins" the console war. I am just fascinated by the AC hatred this particular subject seems to bring out.
