Yes, let's blame the white man, as usual. Surely it is impossible that the immigrants and their children could be somehow responsible for their own destiny.

Muslim immigrants and their children have the exact same problems everywhere, ergo the problem is with them, not with whatever government is in charge.

When people say that immigrants need to accept Western values, they mean the really basic values we have, such as freedom of religion and gender equality. Unfortunately these basic values are diametrically opposed to values that, ahem, certain cultures have.

How do you define a legitimate military target? How do you differentiate between an insurgent and a terrorist? If you attack a purely civilian target to achieve military ends (i.e. continued bombing of innocent civilians to convince a foreign power to cease the occupation of a country), does that not make the civilians a military target?

Well, I suppose you can adopt the attitude that the "insurgents" in Iraq are trying to convince the Coalition to pull out by slaughtering as many civilians as humanly possible.

What defines an insurgency -- a group of people trained to use lethal force? someone sanctioned by a political body to use that force?

In Iraq I would use the term to describe people who want to free Iraq (as a nation) by attacking Coalition forces because they consider them to be invaders and not liberators. However, I doubt there's anyone in there that fits that description. They're mostly conducting Jihad againts the Great Satan. And then there's the Sunni-Shia war and whatnot.

al Qaeda is both of those, as is Hezbolah, yet most of the rest of the world considers them terrorist groups.

    That's because they are.

Was the attack on the Pentagon not an attack on a legitimate military target? Was it not also a terrorist attack?

It was Jihad, and therefore terrorism. Doesn't matter what the target was.

I didn't cry when Aeris died, but I was sad, the same way people are sad when something similiar happens in movies or books. As many fine games demonstrate, there's nothing in games as a medium that's preventing people from having an emotional connection. Far Cry and Grim Fandango are both video games, but whereas Grim Fandango gives me a strong emotional connection to the characters and events, Far Cry is just a B-grade action movie.

This is insane feminism at its finest. It's not enough that women can completely freely choose to study CS, because "equality" won't be achieved until women make up 50% or more of CS students. Meanwhile, nobody cares how many women are training to be plumbers, electricians or truck drivers. Nobody cares how many men are becoming hairdressers, fashion designers or nurses. I do believe the field of plumbing is suffering because it lacks a feminine perspective, our entire civilization could be in danger of collapsing as a result.

Feminists won't be satisfied until there's a nanny state regulating how many percent of women make up any given field of study or profession.
