"They have COMPLETELY forgotten that the Muslims have _ALWAYS_ hated us. They hate us because we're white and Christian. They hate us because they think they should rule the world, and because by merely existing, we stand in their way and we are holding them away from their birthright (i.e. our stuff and our territory)."
Its only a very small section of muslims, blaming all muslims is a generalisation of the worst order. Extremist Christians also want to rule everything so its 50 of one and 50 of the other for all religious megalomaniacs. Its just lucky that there are more sensible christians, different religions and those with no religion to keep the stupid ones in check, but unfortunately the sensible muslims aren't able to control their nut jobs because they'll be killed. Unfortunately because of the religious based rulers/laws in these places, people of different religions and no religion are not allowed to exist because they disrupt the closed thinking and its stops progress to a civil and equal society. Its not surprising that virtually all the most dangerous countries are strongly religious, christian and muslim.
"Without knowing the back-story, the Morrocan restaurant firebombing could've been intra-ethnic score-settling for all we know." - you really need to know the back story before stating a contrary opinion otherwise its based on nothing or vapourware
"Muslims have had a beef with Crusading Christians for as long as Crusading Christians have existed." - fixed..
" If you're lucky enough to live in a place where you can grow your own fruit, it really is worth doing so." - not just fruit, vegetables as well. taste is so much better
"How about relaxing the gun laws to allow the developmentally disabled to carry firearms? " - i think thats already the case as shown by all the news reports of mass shootings, dicks with small pricks walking around with holstered/concealed weapons. Civilised people don't see the need for guns in society unless you are in a civil war/ war zone.
yeah.. more guns. you've already got people blowing waitress's brains out because they were asked to stop smoking and kids shooting themselves when finding guns lying around the house. great idea... everyone walking around with guns, lets return to the wild west.
A civilised society doesn't need guns. If you are living in a civil war zone, then yes you have a reason to have one. Last time i look at the news, i didn't think the USA is currently in a civil war despite Trump trying to whip one up with his stupid rhetoric. Having a gun seems to be the penis extension for those who are still stuck in the 200 year old civil war because that is where they get their justification from. Some poor waitress just had her brains blown out because she asked a customer to stop smoking the restaurant.
Unfortunately this has allowed people who just arrived in the country, who have never driven on the correct side of the road, becoming taxi drivers and if their satnav goes down, they are lost. And GPS signal can get lost in a bunch of tall buildings
Black Cabs win every time, you can even get a wheelchair or pram into the back of the cab.
opensuse does. loads of people have chipped in to dispel the pure crap trotted out by trolls and anti-systemd but they keep spouting out out of date and false nonsense because it suits their prejudices. unfortunately ignorant trolls are loud and some are probably a victim of just reading somebody elses untrue post and not doing any research themselves to see if its true. welcome to the world of trolls
the journal does a lot more then syslog ever did, and gives you a lot more information per record. But syslog/rsyslog now do their own extraction of journal data into their systems, no longer need to configure journald to forward if you use them.
Just use the latest syslog/rsyslog, they extract all the logs from the journal themselves these days without journald being configured to forward them. Try using journalctl to read the journal, its a powerful tool
you need to stop confusing systemd (the binary) and systemd (the project) - it certainly was a mistake to call them both the same name and has caused tons of confusion which trolls use to post crap.
but you can write your own version logind to exclude those calls - the choice is yours. LP himself wrote a shim library for Gnome to use logind without systemd but they chose not to use it.
The choices are out there, its time to stop whining and make them
"difficulty with binary log formats" - maybe you need more practice with "journalctl" or perhaps install the latest versions of syslog or rsyslog as they now extract logs from the journal themselves and you don't have to rely on configuring journald to forward them
true, but as you've said that all muslims want to kill every white christian (what about black christians?), you are guilty of the same paranoid ideas

because it fools the arseholes into buying them so they can boast down the pub/club/wimpy bar - equivalent to a fashion victim
still living in the time of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... then....
i think there plenty of other countries around the world with guns laws disagree.

"Listen dope - the criminals are the ones doing the killing."
Apart from children finding guns around the house and blowing their own brains out.
So you expect proof of concept inventions to be on the market immediately?
you got that correct, its takes about 3 years to complete. they know all the back streets required to avoid jams etc.

No need for "ForwardToSyslog=" soon, once the newer version of syslog/rsyslog are installed as they now do their own extraction.

why not do some research before typing? Don't rely on what any poster says. Try here as a start http://0pointer.de/blog/projec...

but yet the kernel is monolithic and the systemd project is not. Debian seems to have ways of swapping out systemd.
And it's reasonable architecture for power management controls to depend upon power managing daemons.
But it's not reasonable for it to depend on a particular init system.
that's the choice of the developer/maintainer how sh/she codes their software

you just shown how little you know... and making up stuff is a joke
