Ok, now that we've been taught the basics of the router, lets consider this:

I have a strong WPA2 key, protecting access to my network. I only give the key to people that I trust, so that they can access my network. So, the only people who can even use my default password on my router are people I trust.

Whoever holds the copyright?? Actors, writers, directors, cameramen are all for-hire. Just like if a band hires a temp drummer, he is for hire and does not gain any of the copyrights to any songs he helps the band record, same for those rolls above. I'd assume the copyright is held by the executive producers and the movie studios, of course, and they cant cut themselves out...

I can't imagine that the frequency and amplitude would be reproduced correctly. I think using the phone as an acoustic modem would only work if carriers still supported their analog networks (are there even any left in the world?). The digitization would probably work fine, but wouldn't the loss of any bit seriously hamper the decoding when you try to receive data? Then again, I guess thats what error correcting is for.

I was just commenting on the ease of sync with itunes. I plug in my iPod, and it does its thing, nothing is simpler.

-I organize my catalog from the start, and I can transfer it with ease and use it with my other devices/computers.

-My HP printer has a helper service, and so does NERO, and my other old windows shit. If you're missing the 23K of memory its using, well, now you're just complaining for arguments sake.

-Once again, I manage my own catalog, so I can make backups

-Sorry about your RMA experience, but that happens to every company

-The click wheel sorting is much better these days, it'll skip right to a certain letter for you, and you can then sort through that letter, or, you know, sort via artists first?

-Can't comment on the genius thing, but I do know you can create an account without a credit card

-If you don't appreciate the screen scratching, don't buy an iPod. The way you're complaining, it sounds as if you're forced into using all of this stuff...

The same goes for the ipod interface. Thankfully my nano is rock box compatible and I was able to install something that was a bit easier to sync my music with.

I call bullshit on this one. Was hooking your USB cable into your nano too hard for you or something? Honestly tho, you drag your mp3s to the iTunes window, and you hook the iPod in. I can only imagine it being easier if the music was beamed directly into my brain.

I pretty much find all of their interfaces confusing and I really don't have the desire to learn them. Good news is that there are many alternatives on the market.

It all makes sense to me. You can sort by artists, songs, genres, playlists... what more do you want? Song length? (I think iTunes will do that, but not the iPods, so you got me there) My million dollar question however is: if you cant stand the iTunes/iPod software, why the hell did you buy an iPod??

Being gay is no more a choice than being schizophrenic or even being straight. Gay people are attracted to the pheromones of the same sex in the same way straight people are attracted to the opposite sex's pheromones.
