    I don't at work, my job has me in and out of he vehicle every couple minutes. As to the texting while driving being so dangerous, the accident rate has not increased in alignment with the massive increase of cell phone use the past 15 years.

    No, but traffic court prosecutors are generally pretty lazy and would rather drop the charge in return for a guilty plea on the speeding rather than actually have to argue a case.

    States aren't the problem, just replace the word 'Federal' in your post with state. NY/NJ/CT for example have huge pop densities and could handle this issue if there was a push to. The simple fact is people are willing to pay fifty plus a month for internet, and the telcoms are willing to pay politicians to stop anyone from getting a chance to undercut them.

    Because the navy, save for subs amd antisub warfare has become irrelevant. The speed and range of aircraft, amd drone technology, coupled with no real armor advancements since the Iowa class, make those ships as impressive and pretty as they are kust big expensive deathtraps.

    I loved bf2, played the shit out of it. Enjoyed grabbing a jeep, rushing to some deserted capturecpoint, taking it, hiding somewhere with my SAW and just holding it the whole round by myself.

    My experience in BF3beta was constantly spawning in a shopping mall in the line of fire and dying right away not knowing the layout of anythinf or where I was. I never bothered with it again.

    That is just it. Get rid of the mandate whiich only affects the people making not enough to afford insurance and too much to get the free ride. The working poor and lower middle class. That is all they have to do.

    An HOA is not a government. Your town may have a despotic government but it is hardly a universal truth. And candidates who can be thrown out by a fifty vote margin are a lot more likely to listen when their constituents start to complain.

    When the country had a population about the size of Brooklyn spread up and down the Atlantic coast that was probably true. Times have changed, and with the number of representatives set at a fixed amount the voices of the people get easier to tune out as the population grows. The federal government we have is not the right kind of government to oversee the nation we have become. It is time to dissolve, focus more on state level governments with cooperation akin to the EU (but not identical)

    It was the rallying cry for the right. In US politics you do not vote for someone, you vote against the other guy. The winner is the guy who comes out looking slightly less worse. I am a Democrat as are all my friends. We want healthcare reform badly, but as people who fall above the poverty line but live in a very high cost of living state we get the penalty fee without the coverage so fuck it I hope the GOP wins this so we can get a real healthcare reform build.

    Right, because no one has managed to coordinate international flights, states don't have their own EPAs and dissolving the US would mean none of the states could ever cooperate internationally either with each other or with Europe right?
