The new website, http://www.gnomefoundation.org has much information on the development and use of the best open desktop environment avalable.

http://browser.gnomefoundation.org, a site dedicated to the best GPL'ed browser around, hosts development news and how the browser will be integrated into the desktop environment/file manager.

Also, http://office.gnomefoundation.org details news on the great open-source and maturing office suite. This is without a doubt the maturest currently open office suite.

And you might want to see http://apps.gnomefoundation.org for news about the hundreds of applications available, and http://developer.gnomefoundation.org to help improve the best, fastest, most feature rich, and most mature desktop environment available.

Linux is the future. The software at http://www.gnomefoundation.org will, and already is, putting Linux onto the desktop, and is easily the best desktop environment available.

Eventually, just about every channel was +s, and rediculous bans had been set in channels just to keep those 'things' out (like *!*@*.net.il).

These IRC 'anal probes' were totally pathetic. If for some reason you think 'oh, it's easy, just ban the bot', you really do not get what these things were doing.

This may be a rant, but it also contains the truth, KDE is, and probably always will be, ahead of GNOME by a generation. Sure, they can rush their release number to 1.2 so they are 'ahead' of KDE's 1.1.2, but the truth is KDE is superior in almost every aspect. And with KDE 2.0 due out within the next 4-6 months, Nautilus is already obsolete.

And as much as you people say that KDE isn't truly 'open', with the use of Qt, remember this. I can get the source of both KDE 2 and Qt 2. Show me the source of Nautilus, NOW! You can't can you? Hypocrites.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is without a doubt the best thing I have ever seen. EVER. Not the best anime, best anything!

You will have the guts ripped out of the storyline though the previous posts already, but I will say this too late: LEARN NOTHING. Go get the entire series. Watch it in order. Watch it again. And again. And again. Each time you will find something new, another detail, another level. I know people that have seen it though once. Sure, they get the 'top layer' of what happened, but really they have no clue. It is without a doubt the most wonderful piece of art ever.... (and the 'original' last two episodes DO make sence, it's just people that can't grasp them like to insult them. I love 25/26 and 25'/26'. They complement and extend each other.)

This is one series that would still rock without action and battles. Evangelion asks the ultimate question, and it asks it in the best possible way.

And, in reguards to 'god': I am harldy a 'god person'. I'd consider myself a 'hardcore' atheist. :) But you don't need to believe to love Evangelion.

Sorry about this incoherent rant :) I have just quickly expressed what I feel. Just get Evangelion and watch it over and over!!!! Like someone said before, you will thank yourself later.
