I've configured, Hacked, Tweaked, and messed with Windows XP and DX 9 including all of the registry until I got my Computer exactly where I want it.
Vista is more resrouce hungry, and DX 10 isn't all that appealing to me.
I'd rather stick with the perfect configuration I have now, then have to upgrade hardware, and reconfigure an entire OS just to get the same preformance with little return for the effort I would have to put in.
well, seeing as the system would be running while the aircraft was grounded...
it might not be too hard.
besides, if anyone honestly wanted to blow up an aircraft. they could do it, anti-missile system or not.
It almost seems like a non-guided or a non IR shoulder rocket would defeat the system.

Well I have to say, the Xbox 360 really doesn't impresses me at all. The PS3 seems like a pile of new-tech parts and shiney widgets rather than something i'd buy. especially for $600 that's insane.
The wii however, offers something diffrent than the other consoles. I think that's what people are looking for right now

Microsoft doesn't realy need the EU to finance it's ever growing empire. They could just say "Screw you guys im going home" and then the EU would just shit themselves and fall without Microsoft products and support. They have to take in account what Microsoft can do to them, not what they can get out of Microsoft. I think everyone forgets, Microsoft is a Buisiness, and handing out money isn't in the job description.

Accessing unsecured wireless (without breaking any codes or attacking a PC) isn't an invasion of privacy but you are using something that someone else has paid for, on higher speed networks they may not even know that your using it however, I say it's up to the owner of the network to secure it, or in most cases if you just ask to use their network they may very well say yes, as some people just leave their networks unsecured for others to use
Well if you look at who the market is for online shopping is mainly middle-aged stay at home moms, very few people of this description (based on my personal experience) are using Internet explorer because that's all they know of or consider using a diffrent browser to complex.
No, I can indeed not prove what I wrote, But my theory is as good as everyone elses' considering that nobody else has concrete evidence on their theory either. If you study the patterns of ice ages and the handful of "mini ice ages" that the earth has had they seem to always be followed by a warmer period that increases in tempature drastically and then falls again. We had a mini ice age recently enough to explain for the slight increase in tempature.
The early humans however, Did burn down huge parts of the amazon with newly discovered and uncontrolled fire. They in fact created way more CO2 than we have ever created in that time period. The earth is still living and well isn't it?
Global warming doesn't exist. It just doesn't. It's all part of a natural cycle that the earth goes through. The big "Global Warming" thing is all just a load of media crap. Considering yesterday's protein gel healing wounds topic I really did think it was about eating a bowl of copper wire for fiber or something along thoose lines.
I've spent maybe a total of 16 hours of my time tuning the registry, tweaking the services, playing with administration tools and messing with my bios just to get XP at maxium preformance while keeping the most usability. This is how I belive Windows XP should of come in the box. Im definently not moving to Vista because im a gamer. I have my machine exactly where it needs to be in a sweet spot where all the hardware works perfectly. (or as good as possible under windows). I don't wanna have to spend more time editing and tweaking and stabilizing Vista
I think after doing all of the mind-numbing instructions in japaneese your robot might turn out ot be incapable of anything except shouting "All your base are belong to us!"
I think we should make a couple anti-virus programs with personalities like midget stoners,

I understand that this whole internet privacy thing is a new hotbutton and they intend to push that little sucker. It's not about morals but about politics. The reason that it's a new hotbutton is that the voters i.e parents, want someone else to watch their kids. They need to take some f*cking responsibilty! Read the ERSB, Watch their kids, and check the internet sites! This whole thing is a huge waste of tax payer's money and my time and freedoms.
