"You ain't git'in me on no plane you crazy foo"
I think they drugged B.A. more than once to get him to fly... my question is how'd they carry him? Hannibal was strong but not enough to do it alone, Face was too busy with the ladies, and I think B.A. would have kicked Murdoch's ass just for touching him.
Cheers for the A-Team memories!
Anyway, I say the whole broadcast TV thing needs to just die anyway. Seriously, how many people do you know personally who don't have satellite or cable? I know of one person, but that's it. I stopped paying for cable TV over a year ago, and I'm far from the first person to do so. I currently have an OTA (over-the-air aka broadcast) high-def setup in my house, 100% free after the antenna purchase (40 bucks). I'm in a valley, no problems getting all the local channels, not even during "weather". The rest? Well, I only watched a couple of them to begin with... and most of them come out on DVD a few months after the season ends. YMMV, of course.
Here's an idea for the cable broadcasters... drop the rates or give me the option to select only the channels (a per-channel fee, if you will) I want to watch instead of lumping me into a "plan" that gives me a massive subset of them. Maybe I'll consider coming back then? They have the hardware to do so, they're just lazy... or I guess they don't have to since the sheeple are more than willing to pay 100/month on garbage.
Ok, that retort is just plain tired. Microsoft doesn't pay off the school/local gov't officials to use their software. They just give it away to schools who quality for one of their free-for-education plans. It's a lot cheaper and much more effective.
Simple put yourself in their boots... use the most popular office software out there for free, or use OO software that will take hiring a/.'er to run for them. This school district doesn't seem to understand that those outside of the free-for-education plans don't get Office software for free.
Except they want to use this on an airplane, subway, or otherwise enclosed space. Flashbangs affect everyone in the enclosed space they're used... which would include the person who tossed it... and hence not useful in this situation.

Sounds great and all... but did you mean he voted against those you listed? Or didn't vote at all? A congress(wo)man that doesn't vote is worse than half the country that doesn't vote in elections.
How about Congress start worrying about their own problems (balancing their budget, ending a futile war, etc) instead of getting involved in private business?
Driving 60, as opposed to 55, only saves you 1 minute if you drive 12 miles. You sound like my driver's ed teacher. But he also said "yellow light means caution, not step on the accelerator"... and lost his credibility immediately.
You're right... it depends on the state's specific traffic law language. I still prefer "passing lane" regardless, as it doesn't invoke the thought that "I'm going to get there the fastest if I use the 'fast lane'".
People driving the speed limit in the far left lane are obeying the law. In many cases, yes. However, the far left lane is also called the "passing lane"... using the passing lane and not passing is called "obstructing the right of way", which is a traffic violation in most states, regardless of the posted speed limit.
Good points. But it's not the "fast lane"... it's the "passing lane". If you're not passing in the "passing lane", you're obstructing the right of way... this is a traffic violation in most states, regardless of speed.
An entertaining twist on the usual "frist p0st!" post ... good show!
The first one was more witty. Too bad you screwed it up by admitting your mistake!
When I visited Mexico earlier this month, they had a giant sign in front of a building that said "Alcoholics Anonymous Meeting Tonight!"
....
So much for anonymity

There's no such thing as taxes going down. Merely savings redirected to another project.
Wonder if it still tastes like shit ...

Money gained for lawyers: massively positive amounts. Our system exists to give lawyers a pool in the backyard of their 30k sq. ft. mansion.
Damn, did somebody urinate in your coffee this morning?
Many school districts and universities get Microsoft software for free / a heavily reduced rate. Do you actually think they paid for it?

FTA: this version is as big as an A-10 warthog
So would you take that advice and choose said match, or stay away from them?
It's a conspiracy.
I first read that as "goatse".
