  1. Apps do not update automatically. They update at the behest of the Master if the user has entered Slave Mode and checked that box. If you uncheck the box, apps update when the user updates them.

  2. It is an exceptionally small sacrifice, just carry a dumb phone and some other type of computer assistant, like a wifi tablet. And only install apps that are tools. And don't grant a single excess permission.

  3. You should read better authors.

    They need to ban it to show how powerful they are, then unban it to show how much they love freedom.

    Their voters won't notice.

    When it comes to getting jobs from American companies, you might want to focus on working so much harder than Americans that you warrant the extra pay, easy conditions, and benefits.

    Simply mandating that you receive those things as part of a job makes it less desirable to employ you. If there is a robot that can do the job, it is an easy choice. Welcome to your future.

    The UK started having Black Friday a few years ago... then there were riots in shops and they decided not to do it again.

    They should have just measured the stiffness of their upper lips and saved themselves the whole fiasco.

    If you don't excited over getting shoppers to riot, why the fuck would want to copy Black Friday? They should at least have assigned an intern to check the internet for video first.

    I'd watch the BBC version twice, but the only good part of the American version was the ads. They should have just looped the intro music for 24 minutes.

    They aren't freezing people out of food, housing, transportation but instead "luxury items" like airplane travel, high speed rail tickets, rent in premium neighborhoods, etc.

    They haven't said there is no plan for these people. I'm predicting axlotl tanks.

    They're still coming, but the court pointed out that if they get inside the country, Congress already said they can apply for refugee status.

    And Trump sent the military, but none of the jobs the military is allowed to do were needed. So now they're maybe going to have the military try to give them medical care instead.

    The funny part; half a million people illegally cross the border every month. The caravan that is "invading" consists of about 2000 people so poor and frightened that they traveled as a group for safety, instead of hiring gangs to smuggle them across. These are the ones that scare Orange Man and the Frog People the most.
