  1. Unlimited Data. on Apple and AT&T Announce iPhone Service Plans · · Score: 5, Informative

Some carriers define "unlimited data" as some arbitrary level, which once you break you either lose service, or are charged a hefty fee. Just something to keep in mind.

But seeing the close ties that the Howard government has with MPAA type industries (as well as commercial broadcasters) these updated reforms are a great surprise. I personally wouldn't have been surprised to see them go the whole hog and make just about everything illegal.

There are solutions out there for syncing Microsoft PDAs with Mac OS X. Take a look at The Missing Sync at http://www.markspace.com/ I have never used this solution, but I've heard good things about it from others.

This is probably a good way to gain technology while minimizing cost. How much would it cost for NASA to do this in house? 100 million? 200 million? Too expensive? Here's the solution. Offer college students 2.5 million as a prize for a "competition". Good work guys.

  10. Re:Core-Duo - really ? on MacBook Announcement Expected on Tuesday · · Score: 1

I would be willing to bet that the MacBook would include Airport and Bluetooth right out of the box. Why? Because the MacBook Pro's airport card is very different to the retail airport extreme card. They were able to include more expansion in the MacBook Pro because the airport extreme card is tiny compared to the regular airport extreme card, and I also suspect that the old airport extreme wasn't compatible with the logic board designed for the core duo processor.

I think that we will be seeing specs similar to the intel mac mini. One core solo model, one core duo... I can't wait to see the prices.
