    Thank you! It drives me nuts how many people have this concept completely wrong and probably are losing themselves money by not going for pay increases, etc.

    Get a new job, if in the second job you end up in the same position, then it is probably you that is putting yourself there. So often you are your own worst enemy.

    If after the second job you still aren't happy, get a job at a University and pay your way through a Masters program.

    I wish I was rich, then I would be self loathing... but really it is just class envy, but I hate them all the same.

    In traffic I don't let people in if their in a BMW or Benz, but that is also based on that so many people who drive those cars are cutting me off anyways.

    No can do, I wouldn't trust RFID for anything that requires a password or requires any sort of security.

    I'd use it for inventory management etc. like was the big hype when it first came out but I'd keep it out of ATM cards, passports... PEOPLE.

    It powers on, as soon as you try and snap a picture it shuts down. You can view pictures on the card all you want.

    To be slightly contradictory it may in fact be an engineering idea to prevent people from stacking items on top it, for perhaps heat relating issues?

    We had a fanless CPE that people were stacking other network equipment on http://www.lex.com.tw:8080/product/LIGHT.htm which cause the HDD's to fail.

    Users will use what they are used to already, if they can navigate the same way though Ubuntu/OSX as through their windows machines they've been using for 10 years then it doesn't matter to them...

    If the OS of their choice happens to be free, look better graphically, be more stable and have more features then they're in luck and be welcomed into the open source community.

    To add to the comments on Comcast's quality besides being able to provide QoS on their own network they probably have a FE connection to a CLEC (or multiple depending on locations) that provide their termination to the PSTN. Probably they would get an 8ms rtt between CM and PSTN GW.
