I have used the Intel Compiler at work, and Its very nice. It would be interesting to see if somebody was able to produce a distro compiled on something else than gcc.
Where is your SMP at?
Really, I like OpenBSD, and I use OpenBSD alot at work, great product. But where is the SMP?
I got a bunch of Dual Processor machines running FreeBSD cause smp works on them. But no SMP with OpenBSD.
Theo where is it?
Oh Theo we ask again, enlighten us to where the SMP is.
Also this is the same crew that shipped the broken lpr. Sigh.
Nobody has mentioned anything about Fire Supression except one guy who said sprinklers. Hehe NOPE. Consider getting a Halon dump system or some other chemical fire supression system that will not damage your equipment.
I have seen when a diskpack caught fire from a crashed disk. When they opened the door to the disk pack a sudden backdraft type explosion occured. The Halon released just seconds later putting out the fire, all while the other servers, printers, and mainframe continued to work. Sprinklers would of been a $20 million dollar mistake.
Consider Whirlwind cables and snakes, and also forget about the behringer. The Mackies have great preamps for the Mics, which up against a behringer is like light and day.
Heck, when you get as old as I am, a frozen woody is a good thing. Doesn't happen unless you use "special" drugs. My wife thinks its the second comeing of christ.
At our small samba install of about 30 users, we use Mcafee Virusscan. I just run a cron script daily that updates the dat file and scans the system.
It works really well.
Whats up with Darren. I mean, is he trying to pull one of these Gracenote things? IPF is a wonderful product, and so is openbsd...so why the restrictive license? Why must Darren make it so hard for people to use his software.
Sex....After a long hard drive, you should sleep well, and if your lucky enough you will wake up in the morning all refreshed, non anal, cool talking, non managment got something up my rear and it tickles, ready to go happy kinda guy.
If not, maybe you need to watch more pr0n and learn the teqnik of the pro's. I bet you will sleep real good.
Teamspeak supports Windows & Linux. It now uses the speex codec.
How much data do you plan on sending? Data over ham might work. You might be able to find some 19.2kbps wireless modems that work together. Any Ideas?

Maybe...just Maybe
Linux will go away and FreeBSD will take over? Seriously, I wish IBM would "support" FreeBSD on there servers.
Linux is nice, but FreeBSD has a no thrills, get the job done, no questions asked, updating ports, professional feel.
It has the update for this virus.
Mcafee virusupdate 4174 datfile in tar format.
