DND movies should have and very well could have been choose your own adventure. They could have worked exactly like choose your own adventure books. Albeit less complicated for some vague sense of fluidity. Released straight to dvd would not have been in issue for dnd movies. The idea of using your dvd player to actually do stuff which would horrify most people would likely not daunt dnd fans. And it could have some moderate replay value. You would of course need to be inventive in making the plot mesh together niceley and be able to reuse clips or have multiple paths touch rejoin for important events. But these I'm sure are things choose your own adventure authors are used to. Makes me sad that they didn't because it is the only genre it would work in at all...

In my last visit to the states (Philly) the cops there made me nervous. In Canada my best friends dad is a cop and cops go to local events... saw some doing the don't do drugs kids thing at the aviary a few weeks ago.
In the US the only time I saw cops doing anything they were screaming at homeless people. It was cold out, they were trying to sleep, there are not enough spaces in public shelters. So the system apparently is for cops to find said homeless people and shout at them to wake them up and make them walk ... away. I've no idea how this is a permenant solution, clearly humans need to sleep and if no place is provided for them how is it illegal to do so in public? It was horrible to watch people who clearly needed assistance being shouted at to wake up and get the hell out of a public place by those who are there to protect and serve. I saw one guy getting charged for possession of marijuana while I was in the train station as well. He was being treated like he had a bomb on him, it was pretty intense. Pot is illegal here too but its more like 'I gotcha, sorry, hand it over please and get in the car'. It really doesn't make you feel like they are one of you when they are such bullies...

Taking anime into account (I started fansubbing groups which have sent out millions of copies of episodes). I had caused over 500billion dollars in copyright infringement by age 16. By my 30th birthday I think i'll be nearing 10trillion in damages. If you compare this to gdp it puts me around 16th place (by country) ... except all negative values. I bet if I worked really hard at it like a full time job I could overtake the entire planets income in damages. Hell if you want to charge TPB for 8,0000$ of the things transferred on their trackers you reach an amazing 45quadrillion dollars in damages per year. (10x the worlds combined gdp).

  25. Firstly on New Super Mario Bros. Wii To Include Official "Cheat" · · Score: 1

This isn't new at all. TOONNNNS of video games have had cheats. Hell with a Nintendo owned gamegenie or a gameshark you could cheat on the earliest Mario games. So don't get uppity just cause you are older. It didn't seem to ruin everything back then. There just came a whole generation of people that refused to use cheats. Sure if you are bored and beaten it before then play around in invincibility mode and it is content added. But really cheat codes are no different than difficulty settings.

Next the one thing I would like to see is the inability to rank or w/e while you are cheating. I remember in Warcraft1 and 2 if you cheated when you beat the level you'd be labeled as a cheater. I think with that there could be no complaints.
