Only apply the simplest amount of technology to remain efficient. This is a case where too much technology is the enemy. Go back to CB, Amateur, and walkie talkie radio for communication. Use a camera that can record to an SD card and periodically switch out the card and find a safe place to "dead drop" it. This way, the police can glean very little, if anything at all.
What happens if you receive an email with malware attached that activates simply when it downloads off of the server to your mail reader application without you actually opening it? I've seen this happen before. How do you know for certain that you DON'T have a virus? It is possible for legitimate websites like CNN or The Weather Channel to develop an infection and pass it to tend user.
In an ideal world we would be a bunch of smurfs helping each other out when needed. However, this would simply be utopian. This lifestyle might work for small communities of 5-25 people where everyone is dependent upon each other for friendship, socialization, and survival.
Here's to hoping that IP TV will finally takeoff and we can just choose the channels we want. I only watch 10 or 15 channels out of the 500+ that I'm forced to pay for.
The only reason trolls win is we give them the reaction that they are looking for. If people just ignored them more often instead of getting all bent out of shape, the trend would go away. Trolls would quickly get bored because they won't have an outlet for their frustration. Trolls are nothing more than school yard bullies that never quite grew up.

In reality, Cisco doesn't have courage at all. If they had courage, they would work to retrain a capable workforce and buck an ever growing trend in employment. They would sooner send 6,000 people to the unemployment line then work work with a known, reliable quantity. The move is shortsighted because it costs money to hire someone and the new person must then learn the culture, infrastructure, and the business. Add to it the potential for the starting salary to be higher and any positives from the "courage to change" are negated. Bravo on another epic failure of the corporate world. I would have had more respect for honesty and integrity.
I would say, if the job market opens up, not when. There are only a finite number of jobs and there are even greater numbers of people competing for them.
I'd rather Google come in and bust the telecom monopoly in my home town where I have a choice between Verizon FiOS and Comcast Xfinity... if you want to call that a choice. The lesser of the evils is Verizon FiOS. At least the FiOS is truly fiber optic!
You can kill the password in favor of strong security tokens but if the underlying code is poorly written and full of security holes, then it won't be any more secure than what we have now. If you can steal a few retinal images through an exploit, you could, in theory, make a model with the retinal pattern.
It seems epically stupid that wifi access for passengers is not on a physically separate system. Something as sensitive as this should NOT be even a virtual LAN.

Social media will quickly be your company's undoing as no one will want to live in place where they are forced to pay for a crippled internet as a condition of living in one of your properties. There will quickly be expensive lawsuits essentially forcing your company to decouple your internet service from the rent and making it optional. I would simply waggle my middle finger at your company and find a different place to live.
The causes of obesity are a multitude of factors. This article makes an overly simplistic suggestion that sleeping in a darker room will magically help one shed weight. As someone that has lost over a hundred pounds, I'll tell you this: it is making good food choices, counting calories, and getting physical activity. Certainly adequate rest is helpful but there is no credible study to suggest that someone that is doing these things yet doesn't get enough sleep is obese.
I find it funny how the US government accused Huawei and ZTE of building in backdoor access while engaging in the exact same practice. I don't doubt that they do, they just haven't been caught red-handed. Pun full intended.
I'm guessing that even if Obama were to issue an executive order halting the process, it would be largely for show. The actions will continue under renewed secrecy.

This is a good reason to host your own email server with domain name. There are plenty of howtos out there. Hosted vms can be had cheap too.
