    I would love to test the idea of congressman choosen in a random way. As anyone with the money or will required to be elected in a democracy is probably evil in my opinion.

    And expect everyone to do their part will never bring the metric system in or the mafia out. It's always powerful people with tons of money that change anything like it. When it appears that it is not so, you just missed someone controlling it from the shadows. Like sucessful revolutions always having help from some foreign country. Caring about politics, using linux and resisting the mafia only brings futile work and/or suffering for the small individual. You only have a right to vote because its cheaper to finance campaigns than financing revolutions or defending from them.

    Tried ubuntu for a media box, hdmi output had video but not audio. Ubuntu web site said it was not a priority at the time. No time to lose with linux anymore.

    Wanted to save my father a few bucks with this ubuntu version in his new machine to be used as a media player. Couldn't make hdmi audio output to work, gave up and had to buy a windows license. Then I saw the requirementes for a hardware to be ubuntu certified and it is said that hdmi audio is not tested.

    Where I live there is a serious problem with copper thieves, but the phone lines were never touched, I'm not sure why. Cell phones are seem as cheaper only because they can be pre-paid, so you can simply stop paying if you're short on money. But a land-line to land-line call is 1/20 the price of a cell call.

    Great your ISP has a local office you can complain. Where I live (Brazil) all you have is a shitty 0800 that has no shame to hang up when you try to cancel their services or anything they don't like. (You have to sue to make some providers stop sending their bills and ruining your crediting when you stop paying here).

    Last time I checked, cdt didn't index template members, and it's code completion didn't show members of the String class. In that time, visual studio was the only one editor I knew that did that.
