One thing people don't realize is that if you drive 60 mph on the highway instead of 75, you can save so much in gas. If people were not in such a damn hurry.
I still think that because of this kid, the news got out more and resulted in this decision being made.
Seriously if it wasn't for this kid, I would have had no idea that any of this was going on.
I don't know if the term "Whistle blower" would be a good term to use. Whistle blowers typically KNOW something is going on that is illegal, I'm guessing this kids intentions were to be a giant douche but happened to stumble upon something. It's not like he knew that she was using a personal account to handle government related issues.
But do you think that if he had not gained access to her emails, this decision would have been made? Regardless if he backed out, this still resulted in her being forced to keep her yahoo emails. This could come back to bite her if she doesn't remove those emails first.
I just got this deep sick feeling in my chest when I was readying that headline. It wasn't until " it is expected to burn up completely in the atmosphere, causing no harm." that I took a deep breath.
This was one of the largest reasons why I had left EVE. I was in a fairly large alliance. (SMASH) and I had partaken in my fair share of large battles, but we had one with around 400 people total in one system. The game was just in agony trying to run all that.
You will notice to the right, the list of players was cut at the top, the client started to bug out. Also during the battle you really had no control over what was going on. The speed was about a frame every 15-30 seconds. After each from you could be dead....Or another part of your HUD/Overview was missing.
It was battles like that in which I look forward to, but it was to the point where whoever hit the fire button first won, because if you got caught in the stream of lag before you enabled your guns, you would not fire a shot.
I'm glad to see that they are working hard on the performance, I just hope it's good enough to sustain at least a 400 man fight.
My brother was in an accident maybe 5 years ago or so. He was in his jeep on a 2 way road. A car was coming towards him and the driver was drunk. Right at the last moment the car swerved into my brothers lane. My brother was able to react and turn hard enough to allow the car to hit the back side of his jeep instead of the drivers side.
He said his reaction time from playing video games was what helped him, and he really does believe that. I don't blame him nor do I doubt him. I always thought I had a higher reaction time as a result of video games, and I'm sure a study on this has been done to prove it.
If you seriously think you are going to exceed 250GB a month, spend the extra money and get a business account. If you are that heavy of an internet user, moving to 70 bucks a month or so shouldn't be that big of a deal.
What other people do is not my concern.
Fine by me.
I torrent games to use them as somewhat of a Demo. I play it to see if I like it, if I like it and am still interested I go out and buy it.
Ok, and they didn't therefor the national debt did not go down. That's all I'm saying.
I'm just saying...That big number never went down when Clinton was in office.
Yes because the Euro is doing so great compared to that dollar right now.
Actually, the debt never went down under the Clinton administration.

I can assure you that coasting downhill while in gear at 2,200 RPM uses more gas than costing downhill at 750 RPM.
Maybe for automatics it's different.

I have experimented with my own hyper mile techniques.
For starters I drive a 02 Mazda Protege5. It's a 4 cylinder and it's a standard transmition.
I accelerate slower than normal. I shift at about 2,500 RPM instead of 3,000 (Unless I need to speed up faster like highway)
When on the highway, I drive 60 MPH and the speed limit is 65.
When going on a long down hill, I drop it in neutral. (Easier on a standard)
When I drive I refill at a quarter of a tank.
Before my techniques, I could go about 320 miles before needing to refill (At a quarter of a tank)
Now I can drive about 360 miles until I hit a quarter of a tank.
I say it works, and I don't hyper mile to the extend that it pisses everyone else off.

What do you want to bet she went ahead and cleared out any potentially incriminating emails?
I wonder if Yahoo would be able to retrieve it or if they would even have to.
I guess you can say that 4chan kid took one for the team.
Had he not gained access (I don't use the word hack because he didn't hack anything) to her email account, this decision may not have come to be.
I guess you can say he took one for the team although that may not have been his original intentions.

I can't believe no one has posted this yet.
[blockquote]pi]No deaths have been reported yet.[/blockquote][/i] So did it explode over Sundan or on Sundan?

Sorry I know that's somewhat off topic, but....
lolwut?

I actually saved an image of the fight.

In relation to the search we had on Slashdot some time ago, I wonder where he was. I remember looking all over trying to report whatever I could.
Also, unless it's changed, I don't think the nay-sayers are wrong yet. They found his plane but IIRC they have not found a body.
It's 8:00 on a Thursday, and I'm not done drinking my tea....You get the idea. :-P

Obama,
Why did you vote in favor of the FISA bull which gives retro active immunity to the telco's even though it goes against the constitution?
Do you feel the violation of the constitution is necessary in times when the nation seeks protection?

I'm sorry, I didn't know limiting yourself to 250GB a month was "I can't do anything"
Seriously?
