I find this incredibly hard to believe. In my experience IE7 has always been better at detecting (and blocking) Phishing Sites.
Then again, that's just me.
Hutch is awesome (I loved it when I was in India). If you hate it so much then switch to providers such as BSNL, Reliance or Airtel. Or even better Idea.

It's unfair to compare Beta versions with a completed version (Opera), besides IE has been out in Beta for ages compared to a few weeks on Firefox's side.
And Firefox 2 doesn't pass Acid 2 because no work has been done on Gecko (it still uses 1.8, the same as Deer Park)
Firefox 3 (which will use Gecko 1.9) will pass the Acid 2 Test.
And what makes a certain product a killer ?
I doubt Microsoft will succeed. Apple has planted its image in peoples mind that it's chic. I can't think of a single one that would call Microsoft chic.

I personally prefer Zooomr's, It uses Google Maps and is more functional than FlickR (and offers free accounts to bloggers)
They succeeded because they were lean, if want to emulate or continue that success they better continue being lean.
