Anyone experience this? I've installed OpenOffice and SOT Office and both times they freeze my system when it comes to the Component registration section.
I'm currently a permatemp at Microsoft doing product support for FrontPage 2000. I've seen a lot of very competent people leave after 100 days.
M$ has to spend money brining in new temps and sending them through training and such.
As far as I'm concerned, this is very bad for business. If you have a permatemp that is kicking ass at what they do, hire them! At least you can bring people in on a probationary basis and have them proove themselves.
Hopefully, we'll have the negative income tax soon for temps.:)
I don't think breaking up Microsoft is an appropriate solution. Rather, their corporate charter should be revoked and their assets handed over to the Free Software Foundation.:)
So what if some welfare state gets a cut? The founder of Sony doesn't have a need for it now. Besides, it'll go to the welfare state for the rich in the form of industrial subsidies, tax breaks for millionaires, etc. I don't think hungry children will see a dime of it. All you need to do is read Noam Chomsky and see what I mean (http://www.zmag.org/chomsky)

Now, now, little boy, I don't think the Second Amendment has anything to with copyright laws.
I'll add my greetings as well. Happy Birthday! Enjoy KDE 2! :)
Well, you obviously don't know what the bloody f**k you're talking about.
I've used Photoshop 5 for a while, and it's a slug. I can do a lot in the GIMP that Photoshop can do. You obvioulsy haven't made the effort.
..mistakes are ofent made. The Chinese have a saying, "If you make a mistake, and don't correct it, you've made your second mistake". :)

NOT A LOAN????
Can you expound upon this, please?
Well, if you're dumb enough to believe that, you'll believe everything. Unrestrained capitalism works??? Puhleeze! Spare us the Ayn Rand psychoses!
