I live in an area that does not receive stations well OTA, especially HD-OTA, our only realistic thing to do if we wish to watch programming is sign up for cable or satellite service.
and by "with wikis dominating the internet..." dominating? Maybe Wikipedia is dominating the uncitable, non-peer reviewed references that everyone uses, but in other forms, Wikis are often highly lacking and suck.
As a 4 year participant, I will agree that it does cost a nice sum of money to join, and go to many regionals. But costs can be kept down. Mnay teams do it on less than $20k, others spend over $100k but they host regionals, my team, 111 Wildstang spend a decent amount of money, and we do well because we have huge student participation.

You can not go anywhere without having information shoved and forced upon, and it does and will control you more
