    The problem is that this therapy tends to erase all memories. It is a very blunt instrument, just slightly better than a lobotomy.

    Back in the days of yore, a schizophrenic would be a prophet or an oracle, since some gods and daemons or dead souls are talking to him. These days, thanks to stabilizing medicine, they have more opportunities to excel.

    Uhuh, similarly people with agoraphobia or anxiety can be used at night when it is quieter and the law assumes that a larger company can do more to accommodate someone than a small company can.

    Yup, and the idea of 'reasonable accommodation' usually means that it only applies to companies with more than 50 employees, since it would be unreasonable to expect much from a smaller company. So if you have a disability of any kind that requires some level of support, then get a job at a large company.

    Note that the install program was Linux and it worked just fine - you installed the thing didn't you? So your problem is likely that you installed a desktop system that requires a modern graphical card. If you would choose LXDE or XFCE then it will be OK.

    Well, at the very least you could make a WinXP virtual machine, then you can easily restore it when it screws up. You could also make WinXP into a BartPE CDROM and run it in an uncorruptable form.

    You have not met my wife. She will walk into a room where I am sitting, change the thermostat or fan speed, then walk out. So I got to get up and set it back again. I have considered modifying things so it can't change, but that would be cruel.

    The meta data is much, much, much more important than the contents of a message or phone call. It is the meta data that is used to gain your geo location used for the missile. Once the launch button is clicked, what you said, or whether you are guilty of anything at all, fades into insignificance rather rapidly...
