Visual programming tools have existed for years now, but they won't replace textual programming because they can't handle complex scenarios without making the interface uncomprehensible (check out Max MSP).
Also visual tools are usually domain specific, while general purpose languages (like Java, Ruby, Python are not).
It's annoying to always hear the line "you used to be assholes with us, but now you can't cause your country is fucked up" whenever something bad happens in Argentina.
Maybe in 2 hours you learned the very basics, like changing fonts and colors.
Learning how to do complex layouts will take you a much longer time, due to broad scope of CSS (CSS 3 is massive) and because every browser implements CSS differently.
Take it easy gramps... they're making it easier for us to share interesting things in other networks. If you don't wanna share, then don't click the icons.

While the impact for chinese people could not be that large, the impact for Google is huge. It is a really ballsy move from them to risk losing the enormous chinese market.
