  1. Fork in the Road on Mozilla Rolls Out Sponsored Tiles To Firefox Nightly's New Tab Page · · Score: 4, Interesting

I find myself agreeing less and less with the things the Mozilla is doing as a company. I get what they want to do and where they want to go, just don't agree with the methods they are using.

  2. Wireless on Apple Hacker Charlie Miller To Demo Dangers of Near-Field Communications · · Score: 1, Interesting

Whenever something is wireless there will always be a way to spoof or block it. All you have to do is provide it the right information and it will divulge all of it's information.

To me this is just common sense. If you want something to be less prone to this type of hacking? Don't use a wireless product in general...

No you are definitely not alone in wishing that games were much longer than 6-9 hours. But then again, I'm one of the people still playing MUDs..

Too often do companies make a game that has a weak story, that is just about worthless, and release it hoping that the multiplayer, DLC, and update patches carry it.

  9. M$ on A Closer Look At Oracle's (Legal) Linux · · Score: 0, Offtopic

This is all part of M$'s plan anyways. Partner with someone and then sue the rest of the market for stolen code so that they can no longer operate, then the icing on the cake is assimilating the partner into M$ as a "friend" so that they can take their friends money. And oh, look no more competition!

Awesome? And have M$ have power over both the mainstream market and the admin market? besides M$ products have been proven too large and very crash worthy with rarely updated security loopholes.

why wouldn't they want free advertising? most people think they are the same company anyways. I think I am going to file for the word "the" as a trademark, for my trash hauling business, maybe I'll get rich...
