I am currently paying (according to current exchange rates) USD$54 a month for a 1.5Mbit service with a 20GB download limit, then it's capped to 64k. I HATE YOU.:(
Aye, I remember back in the day I had a housekeeper who would practice my mother's signature, and eventually attempted (and failed) to steal about $500 or so by forging a cheque.
I remember, back in the 1.5 days, I had memory leaks. I'd have firefox using 400mb+ of memory. Come 2.0 though, the problem was fixed for me, and I haven't seen it rise over 100mb on my two computers since.
I don't argue with results. I had no doubt in my mind that the treatment would not work, yet I haven't had a migraine - or any other symptoms - in years.
I was allergic to wheat, soy, rye, sulphides, nitrates, and probably a bunch of stuff I can't remember. Oh, right, cockroaches. Eating any of these things would result in migraines so painful that I'd throw up from the pain, and would go blind during the intitial stages of the migraine. I would have these migraines up to three times a week, and they could sometimes last days. I wasn't actually aware that I had allergies.
After a blood test, I went on a desensitisation program, wherein I didn't eat any of the above (very hard, seeing as sulphides+nitrates include everything with flavour. I basically lived on rice...) for about a year, while taking drops under my tongue. I'd go in for blood tests every three months or so, I think, and could slowly start eating these things again.
Now, I can eat what I want. The process was expensive, but I think well worth it. For a year of bland food, I got my life back.
The idea that you can dictate to me how much your product is worth to me is the dictionary definition of condescending, and it is insulting. Gee, you must be a real hit at your local shops.
Most people who live on their own with a median income have far better purposes for their money, especially when it comes to buying $50 games. You can buy the same stuff you already have with a little bit of new stuff for $50? Or all new games?
You poor dear. Here in Australia we pay USD$86 and up for the same crap.
You're absolutely right, because it makes perfect sense that they would meddle with established series and place utterly ridiculous elements of one of their own in there.
I applaud you on spotting this absolute affront to gamers everywhere. Bravo!
I haven't had to reinstall windows for all the years XP has been out (and it's continued to run perfectly, almost but not quite as fast as my old ubuntu installation, but that's to be expected) unless I replace the hard drive and want to simply be off with all the crap I seem to accumulate.

With the economic shock, people wouldn't have as much money to spend on: THAT'S RIGHT! BEEF
THE VEGETARIANS ARE IN ON IT!
I hate you. I hate you with a passion.

I like the blue lights. They're all... Future-y.
R&D has seen the future, and it is blue!
100GB a month, not a huge amount, he says.
;_;
Oh, for an ISP that did that much, that fast, that cheaply in Australia...

The robot probably won't try stuff like that...
In the average consumer's eye, windows is free anyway, because it comes pre-loaded on their PCs.
There's what, 10 million of us now? Not much 500 can do.
I ran it on windows XP, and ubuntu when I was still using it (went back to windows because I started gaming again). I had no leaks on either OS.
:\
I usually have at least four tabs open, often ten or more.
I tend to leave my browser open for days or weeks at a time, only closing it when I have to rarely restart my computer.

We've got one here in Sydney.
Plans like that are for the technophobic. Nobody who knows the slightest thing about what they're doing goes with Telstra.
You mean the average American ISN'T?!
This is surely a sign of the end times.

I'm sure by the number of doctored photos it's quite obvious that Hugh Laurie is just made to play Freeman.
Oh, come on. It's 2007. I know I watched cartoons on my grandparent's cable TV before 1997.
Perhaps it wasn't as widely or readily available, but it was here.
In hindsight it would have been better for me if I had just replied with "Whoooosh!".
What, I'm not allowed to be cynical about things that stupid?

I don't see what a ritual with its roots deep in religion has anything to do with this.
"Unlike windows", you say.

Come now, I wouldn't put dell on the same level as a BMW.
You're right... It's a much better deal to buy two dells.
