Australia, as hinted by me referring to my current monthly cost in Australian Dollars.:P
Mobile internet is only just properly taking off in this country and the iPhone is to thank for it. Before the release of the iPhone you were likely to be paying AUD$15 a month per 5MB unless you were a business user on an expensive blackberry plan.
Doesn't seem to be available here, and if the plans it would be offered on are comparable to the HTC dream's, much more expensive than my current iPhone.
Not currently available here with no ETA, and even if it had one whatever plans available for it would be way too expensive. When the iPhone launched, there were special iPhone plans available - I'm paying about half what most people do for more value. Looks like it'll be targeted at business users, which means way more than what I'm willing to pay. Might be worth looking at if it's not too expensive, though.
Show me a more open touchscreen device with as much ease of use that I can get for a price anywhere near comparable to this one (I pay AUD$49 a month inc handset payments) and I'll consider switching. People buy them for reasons other than "I'm a consumer whore".
However, with marketing -- you can send any number of suit-monkeys out to cut deals with drink manufacturers, t-shirt companies, magazines.. etc. All without detracting from the potential quality of your final product.
Well, theoretically over-hype could backfire if the game turns out to be absolute shit, but since most EA titles just require that initial sale (and many people will buy them as soon as they're available) it's not as damaging as, say, an MMO losing most of its subscribers the month after launch.
I hate most ads that use flash. Any ad that flashes, blinks, rapidly changes colours or claims that I have won something. Get this disruptive bullshit out as well as intrusive adverts and I'll happily disable adblock. I don't block ads from project wonderful, because I've never seen a bad ad on there. It's the few ads that are exceedingly obnoxious that ruin it for almost every other advertiser, in my case.
I *do* click on ads that interest me. It's just that the ads that are an eyesore mean I'll block almost everything and not feel sorry about it.
I follow a few of the iphone dev-team (responsible for quickpwn and the like for jailbreaking and unlocking iphones) on twitter and they would seem to disagree. I'm not an expert on the matter though.
Last i checked you can't even play a burnt BD on a set top BD player, or watch BD movies on your PC!
I must confess I don't know much about BD because I don't give a shit unless it becomes more affordable for me to back things up on them than buy external HDDs, but my sister's laptop has a BD drive and can play them. Of course, it is a Sony Vaio, so I guess it doesn't count.
I am finding I'm running into many applications that use embedded IE to access the internet. Two off the top of my head are Steam and Darkfall Online - Steam of course uses it for its store, community pages, and in-game overlay's web browser, while Darkfall used a horribly implemented system for its journal, clan pages etc.
There are many others, and if you're using one which happens to stumble upon a compromised site you'd be better off with a newer IE, I'd think.

What? I received feedback as a buyer not two weeks ago.
Ah, a google reveals they can't leave negative feedback. Hmm.
Out of their depth? Have you SEEN what that ping-pong ball can do? If he was a bit more focused, it wouldn't be Dr Destroyer we're worried about.
Foxbat doesn't count as a hero, unless I somehow missed a quest. :P
Here in Australia, "unlimited" apparently means 12GB. >:(

It already does that. My room is warm in winter without anything heating it besides my computer.
The day when my computer also doubles as a mini fridge will be awesome indeed.
Dare not question the Doctor's pseudoscience, mere human.
I had three of one of my front teeth when I was rather young. The second one was a gnarled twisted mass. :\

Are you kidding? I'd buy that.
That's because QuickTime AND WMV suck.

Maybe they should do some research into ads that don't make me want to kick puppies.

Remember to keep your PIN number safe for use with ATM machines.

Hmm, my penis doesn't seem to get a 3G internet signal. Maybe if I jiggle it around a bit...
I wish I could use my mod points to mod you a lazy bastard. I mean COME ON, it's a google product. GOOGLE. JUST FUCKING GOOGLE IT!
I traded my gamecube for a wii and bought a 360, and hooked them both up to my computer! :D

Oh, fuck off. Just because we don't have the ability to find out about some things yet doesn't mean they're fundamentally unexplainable.
